Een van de twee meest populaire heiligdommen in Kobe City. Het is een heiligdom, en voor deze is het meer gedempt... zonder overal het beroemde oranje/rood. Zeer populair voor veel verschillende belangrijke feesten voor de lokale bevolking.
We gaan door Harbor land en Meriken Park. Dit is een prachtig havengebied voor zowel de lokale bevolking als reizigers. In Meriken zijn er veel eetgelegenheden en winkels om rond te snuffelen.
De plek waar de lokale bevolking graag winkelt. Dichter bij de Daimaru-winkel zijn de winkels meer kosmopolitisch, en als je richting de kant van Kobe Station gaat, zie je een mix van nieuwe en oude (winkels van vele generaties).
China Town ligt aan de kant van Motomachi. Je waant je in een totaal andere buurt dan wanneer je deze straat binnenstapt. Je hebt het gevoel dat je niet eens meer in Japan bent.
Een van de twee meest populaire heiligdommen in Kobe City. Levendige kleuren, oude geschiedenis en naar dit heiligdom gaan is leuk omdat je door het entertainmentgedeelte van Kobe gaat.
Welke ANDERE INTERESSEN had je in gedachten? Sake proeven? We kunnen naar een lokaal brouwerijmuseum gaan of naar een populaire sakebar. Uw keuze, laat het ons weten.
8-uur durende ervaring wordt aanbevolen als u de Nunobiki-watervallen wilt opnemen. Nunobiki toont de bloemen die bloeien in het seizoen dat je bezoekt. Terwijl je over de tuinpaden loopt, heb je onderweg uitzicht op de Kobe City Ocean/Sky-lijn. Leuke rit de berg op met een kabelbaan "gondel"; en tijdens je rit naar boven kun je de Nunobiki-waterval zien, en andere huizen, gebladerte .... en niet te vergeten het uitzicht op de skyline van Kobe City. Eenmaal bovenaan, bezoek je het etherische oliemuseum en ruik je wat monsters, loop je het pad af met veel kleinere tuinen die in prachtige patronen zijn geplaatst en bezoek je een kas met prachtig zicht en geluid van stromende rivier. Als je wilt, kun je ook lunchen in het kruidenrestaurant (met gangen eetbare bloemen). Je kunt hier niet fout gaan als je alles wilt zien wat het landschap van Kobe City te bieden heeft (bergen, oceanen en alles daartussenin).
Wil je KOBE BEEF proberen? ...O ja! We kunnen uw tour beëindigen bij een aanbevolen restaurant, zodat u op uw gemak kunt genieten. Als je tijdens je ervaring liever Kobe Beef als lunch hebt, kan dat ook :-)
Voormalige burgemeester van Kobe. Op het terrein, een Europees ontworpen paardenstal, prachtige Japanse tuinen met verborgen gebieden om te verkennen, en een oud boothuis. Ook is hier een huis van een buitenlandse kolonistenhandelaar getransplanteerd; en de meeste dagen zijn we in staat om door dit huis te reizen.

Michelle was an amazing tour guide during our stop in Kobe. Since it was our first time there and we had limited time at port, we really appreciated how much she was able to show us in such a short amount of time. We did a walking tour that also included riding the subway, which gave us a great feel for the city and how locals get around. Michelle made everything easy and stress-free while still fitting so much into our day. She introduced us to local candies, Kobe beef, and ice cream, all of which were amazing and made the experience even more memorable. It felt like we were able to experience a great mix of the local culture and food in just a few hours. Michelle was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized, and we are so glad we got to spend our time in Kobe with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Kobe for the first time!

Just be aware that your review can disappear while writing it as mine did both times so keeping it short! We started our tour by riding the Ropeway to the Nunobiki Gardens which provided amazing views of Kobe and the waterfall below. Once at the top we walked around the many gardens with beautiful flowers and herbs. The Cherry blossoms were in full bloom which made our visit very special. We enjoyed a coffee and cake while admiring the views below but the cafe is very expensive! There are lots of concrete paths and steps as you descend the mountain. We finished our tour at a restaurant in downtown Kobe and enjoyed the very tender flavoursome Wagu beef. A must do in Kobe.

Our day with Michelle was fabulous. She went out of her way to show us what real life is like in Kobe. She answered all of our questions openly and honestly and we had many laughs along the way. She took us to a fantastic restaurant to try Kobe beef, we shopped for vintage candy and even in a second hand store. Her photos were great too! Everything she showed us was thoughtful and the day flew by. Her perspectives from both east and western living were very insightful and we felt like we had made a new friend by the end of the day. We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Michelle. She is from Kobe but spent many years in the US. She showed us a couple of shrines, which were beautiful but explaining her inside knowledge of the everyday life of the cities residents was something that really fascinated us. She explained different shops, hotel, the inside daily activity of neighborhoods etc. that you never get on a regular tour. Because this wasn't just seeing tourist attractions, this was one of our favorite tours ever... and we do a lot of traveling.

We really liked this tour because the guide was born and raised in Kobe but lived in the US for many years so she was able to explain parts of her city that would be new to us. She showed us a couple of wonderful shrines, a neighborhood and how people lived their daily lives, local shops, malls, waterfront, etc.. She was very accommodating to our needs and wishes. It was a great day.

Michelle's tour around her town was a lot of fun. The tour is really custom to what you want to see. We learned a lot about Japanese history, things we didn't learn from other guides in Japan. We got to see the sights, see great views, eat Kobe beef, drink Kobe sake and stroll around local neighborhoods. My wife enjoyed shopping with her and learning about local stores/souvenirs and buying some Japanese candies. She's also a great photographer, we got some great photos together. A very personalized tour, it felt like strolling around a town visiting an old friend. I would definitely recommend her tour.
