Beschrijving
Tijdens deze reis wandel je op de Marangu-route met één nacht in Mandara Hut en richting Horombo Hut voordat je terugkeert naar Mandara voor de lunch en dan terug wandelt. Je bereikt de top NIET. Alle korte trektochten worden op privébasis aangeboden en je kunt op elke dag van het jaar beginnen. De korte tochten zijn bedoeld voor mensen die graag wandelen, maar het bereiken van de top is geen "must do", en laat je de opwinding ervaren van wandelen op de hoogste top van het Afrikaanse continent. Alle trekkingen in het Tanzania National Park vereisen de diensten van een gecertificeerde Kilimanjaro-gids, en de Marangu-route is de enige route waar korte tochten zijn toegestaan. Voor een overnachtingswandeling verblijf je in de parkhutten.

I can highly recommend this tour over the 1 day tour. It was so great to stay in the Mandara Hut overnight. We could hike to the Maundi Crater, enjoy the silence there and had a great view to Kenia. In the evening I walked into the rainforest, it was a fantastic experience. In the morning we walked from 2700 to 3200 m altitude (above the forest) and enjoyed the sunrise with a great view to Mawenzi and Kibo.
This place was beautiful and definitely a must see. BujoTours did an excellent job ti ensure we had all the proper equipment, food, and shelter. The porters were attentive and assisted with the equipment. I would absolutely use BujoTours in the future!

We decided to take this trip last minute and we’re in a remote area of Africa at the time. We called Bujo and told him we wanted to hike Mount Kilimanjaro and go the the Serengeti. From there, he planned every little detail and all we had to do was follow his direction throughout the trip - which was amazing!! Our guide on mt Kilimanjaro was Nass and he was absolutely world class. We had one of the best times of our life! Nass had a big support crew with him that were from heaven. This was a trip of a lifetime!
