Als u in Lixouri verblijft en u wilt deze excursie bijwonen, is ophalen bij de haven van Argostoli. Voor deze tour is er geen ophaalservice beschikbaar vanuit de dorpen Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiscardo en Assos vanwege hun ligging buiten onze aangewezen ophaalzones. Houd er rekening mee dat deze tour niet geschikt is voor cruisepassagiers vanwege tijdgebrek. We raden je aan andere opties te overwegen die beter aansluiten bij je schema.

What a wonderful packed day exploring the amazing island of Kefalonia! With so many stops in such wonderful locations it was truly a day to remember. Maria our fantastic tour guide was incredible from start to finish with so much knowledge, fun and professionalism throughout and also our Driver Dimitris was fantastic driving and always a great laugh too. I really cannot rate this tour highly enough for the value for money and the time you will have, a must do if you are visiting Kefalonia
Wendy was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. She quickly built a rapport with the group and gave us some great tips. Let me start this review by saying we are not coach tour people. We prefer to keep ourselves to ourselves and avoid crowds. However, 36 hours Kefalonia was enough to tell us we didn’t fancy taking our lives into our own hands and hiring a car. The roads and drivers are 😳😳 So, after speaking to Georgia in the office in Argostolli we booked the island tour. Georgia was informative, able to answer all our questions and gave us confidence that, despite the above, we would enjoy our day. And we did. Thoroughly. We joined the tour as a group of 4: mum and dad, 18 year old and 16 year old. Maria was an excellent tour guide. Her narrative throughout the time on the coach was knowledgable, interesting and informative. Never boring or simply filling time. Her delivery was charismatic and professional. Our driver was incredibly skilled and we felt safe throughout. The locations we visited were excellent and the itinerary was adapted from what was planned in order to maximise our enjoyment of the day. We got on the coach in Lassi at 09.15 and were dropped back at the hotel at 19.15. A truly packed day that represented excellent value for money. Yes, we would have done it quicker if we had hired a car. Yes, we could have spent longer in some of the locations if we hadn’t been tied to being back at the coach at a certain time. But we did not see these as negatives at all. The only negative is other travellers with no regard for their companions or the schedule. The same people were late back on the coach on every occasion and couldn’t care less. But this was no reflection on the company or the team on the day. Just obnoxious humans with no regard for anyone but themselves. We would highly recommend this company and this trip.

Quite a lot of steps, entrance tickets for the caves not included, take a camera and wear comfy shoes

11hr trip in 33° heat. 3.75hrs in total spent off the coach 7.15hrs on the coach. Rep was entertaining but knowledge was lacking. Yes we were last on coach and last off so coach time extended for us.
Thank you for your review. We're sorry the island didn't shrink for the day. Kefalonia is one of the largest Greek islands, which is why this tour is clearly advertised as an 11-hour excursion. The driving time between attractions is simply part of exploring the island, with approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes spent at the stops. Regarding the heat, all of our coaches are fully air-conditioned. While we make sure the coach is comfortable inside, unfortunately we haven't yet found a way to lower the temperature outside, which was around 33°C on the day of your tour. As for being last on and last off the coach, that is the nature of shared transfers and is determined by hotel locations rather than preference.
