De Cape Cod Explorer-tour werkt uitsluitend in het Game Creek Conservation-land. Het is een prachtig wad genaamd Scorton Creek dat gevoed wordt vanuit Cape Cod Bay en onderdeel is van het Great Marsh ecosysteem. Er is een verbazingwekkende hoeveelheid vogelactiviteit, dieren in het wild en de algehele natuur te bekijken tijdens onze tour. Dit gebied bestaat uit zout water, brak water en zoet water, dus de variatie aan planten en dieren in het wild is verbazingwekkend!

Parking and pre-tour prep - was very poor. Unfortunately - we went on Saturday - the direction given to the site was very, very weak. Once we arrived - parking was a disaster. the company would be best served to provide a shuttle from their location. I would not advise this tour on a weekend, as too many use the same location - and parking is very, very poor. Best of luck with the rest of you summer.
The parking is a public lot and it was far more congested with people than we have ever seen it. That was not an ideal situation or the norm as you can see from other reviews. Hopefully your time on the water was enjoyable and I'm sorry the parking and frustration leading up to it was the main takeaway for you.
This is the second time I’ve done this with my kids, it’s a nice way to get out on a pond for a couple of hours and understand more about the natural environment and wildlife birds, turtles, etc., in the area as well as the history of the community. We paddle about 3 miles around the pond. The guy was quite knowledgeable and we found this very family friendly, not too difficult activity.

Kevin was superb. It was a blustery day but he took very good care of us. He kept us together in the wind, was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Since the wind made things difficult he took us on a short walk through the park when we got off the water, telling us about the history of the area and about the plants and wildlife. It was a wonderful experience. They went above and beyond.
The kayaking was in a scenic gorgeous salt marsh. Was a nice enjoyable paddle. I have been on many of these kinds of tours. I have seen much more attentive guides, making sure the kayakers were able to maneuver and get in and out. This trip was not that. Have also had experiences with pictures taken that were more purposeful and meaningful. Great kayak not my favorite company.

I would definitely recommend taking a kayak tour, especially if you're new to kayaking. Our guide, Kevin, was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. He provided clear instructions on proper paddling techniques, which helped everyone feel comfortable on the water. During the tour, we learned about the local wildlife and gained interesting insights about the waterways we were exploring. Kevin was patient and attentive throughout the trip, even towing one of our group members who was not a strong paddler. Overall, it was a fun, educational, and memorable outing, and I highly recommend it.

Rideaway and our guide were great. We had a leisurely paddle up the creek to the bay, saw osprey, shorebirds, and crabs. Even saw a shark egg sack! Very relaxing!
