Ongeacht of je voor de eerste keer naar Japan komt, of je bent een geobsedeerde Japanse liefhebber, deze intieme privétour is een unieke ervaring om je dierbare herinneringen aan onze prachtige stad Kanazawa te verbeteren. Je wordt meegenomen naar de mooiste plekjes van de stad, begeleid door een lokale Engelssprekende professionele fotograaf. Tijdens de rondleiding zal ik je magische momenten vastleggen in Kanazawa, zodat je de bezienswaardigheden kunt bekijken zonder je zorgen te maken over de beste hoeken en het licht, of een onbekende vraagt om je foto te maken! Ik ben ervaren in portretfotografie en reisfotografie en mijn werk is gepubliceerd in vele tijdschriften, reisgidsen waaronder Lonely Planet en de stadsgidsen van toerismebureaus. Een dagje uit met mij zorgt ervoor dat je een deskundige, grappige, lokale professionele fotograaf hebt, en Insta-waardige reisfoto's worden gegarandeerd!

Chaya is een traditionele plaats van feesten en entertainment, waar Japanse beroemde geisha's mensen hebben geïnnoveerd door middel van dansen en het spelen van traditionele muziekinstrumenten sinds de Edo-periode. Higashiyama is het grootste district van Chaya in Kanazawa en biedt de mogelijkheid om een glimp op te vangen van het rijke culturele verleden van Japan. Bezoek Shima Geisha huis gebouwd in 1820. We zullen een fotoshoot sessie in het gebied hebben.
Optioneel: Shima Geisha House is een historisch geishahuis in de theehuiswijk Higashi Chaya in Kanazawa. Het gebouw is nu een museum en geeft bezoekers een kijkje in het leven van de geisha die zich hier ooit vermaakte.
Rustige en vredige theehuiswijk. Geniet van de geschiedenis van Kanazawa zonder drukte! In de omgeving zijn veel Japanse films opgenomen.
Stap in de schoenen van de lokale bevolking van Kanazawa met een bezoek aan de grootste versmarkt van Kanazawa, waar we een heerlijke lunch zullen hebben. (meerdere opties, op eigen kosten)
Verken de Nomura Samurai-residentie voor een stap terug in de tijd in het Bukeyashiki-gebied en leer hoe samurai leefden.
Het Oyama-heiligdom werd opgericht in 1599 met een 25 meter hoge Nederlandse gebrandschilderde torenpoort. Icoon van de oude stad Kanazawa
Vreedzame Japanse tuin met een traditionele Japanse houten brug. Wandel door de tuin op weg naar het kasteel Kanazawa.
De gerestaureerde Nezumitamon-brug was een van de grootste houten bruggen op het kasteelterrein en stak de met water gevulde gracht over
Kenrokuen is terecht geclassificeerd als een van de 'drie mooiste tuinen van Japan'. Het ruime terrein was vroeger de buitentuin van Kanazawa Castle, gebouwd door de heersende Maeda-familie gedurende een periode van bijna twee eeuwen. Kenrokuen is in 1871 voor het publiek geopend en biedt een verscheidenheid aan bloeiende bomen die afhankelijk van het seizoen de tuin verschillende aspecten en kenmerken bieden. Mijn persoonlijke favoriet is de lente, maar het maakt niet uit in welke tijd van het jaar je een bezoek aan deze magnifieke, typisch Japanse tuin niet wilt missen. Je kunt hier geen fotosessie missen. Het is een must!
We halen je op / brengen je terug in het Komatsu / Kaga-gebied.
Kanazawa Castle was de zetel van de macht van de Maeda-clan over het Kaga-domein in de Edo-periode in Japan. De dikke buitenmuren van het kasteel staan nog steeds gerangschikt en schuin als een enorme ziggoerat, bezoek aan mijn favoriete deel van het kasteel - Ishikawamon Gate - om je bezoek af te ronden. Geweldige plek voor fotoshootsessies.

Exploring Kanazawa with TK felt easy and well-paced from start to finish. He was punctual, organized, and made getting around comfortable. Conversation was easy and comfortable, and his familiarity with Kanazawa made the experience more interesting. We have a young child and he was patient and engaging. As a photographer, he has a good eye for locations and composition. He offered very helpful direction for poses and angles. There was no sense of being rushed, and he took time to make sure key moments were captured properly and naturally. The result was a set of amazing photos and an enjoyable day for our family.

We did a day tour with Takatoshi for Kanazawa. He’s very knowledgeable and made our day feel seamless and we covered all the major attractions in Kanazawa. He also gave excellent recommendations for the lunch and kept our kids engaged as well. He’s a great photographer and the pics that you get at the end of the tour are amazing. Will highly recommend him.

I was looking for a local tour guide in Kanazawa and happened to come across TK and his photography tour. Read the great reviews and decided to go for it and try something new! The biggest plus is that TK is pretty fluent in English after having lived in various countries. TK arrived early to our accomodation and took us around to the different scenic spots in his vehicle. We went to the different districts (Geisha, tea, samurai), castle, and garden. TK has gotten the timing down! While there were other visitors everywhere we went, we managed to get shots with nobody in the background. During our conversation, we mentioned that my fiance and I are getting married later this year. TK incorporated the engagement ring and some very cute/romantic poses for our photos. We will definitely be using some of the photos for our wedding!~ Overall we had a great time conversing with TK and learning about the history of Kanazawa and Japan while taking some pretty awesome photos!

This was hands down the best tour I have ever booked! We easily fit in all major attractions in Kanazawa and did not feel rushed at all. Our personal tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and even gave us personalized recommendations for food and coffee based on what we liked. Takatoshi, the tour guide, was fun and friendly. We were thrilled about the experience in all and then maybe a day later he gave us the pictures from our tour - we are so happy with the result. I am pregnant and we have a toddler, so we were not expecting too many good photos of our little one it can be tough to get him to look at the camera, but I LOVED every photo. The tour is a total steal for what you get. I highly recommend it and if I come back to Kanazawa I will be rebooking.

TK was punctual, communicative, and very patient with our 2 year old toddler during the 6 hours Kanazawa day tour and photoshoot session. It's a great way to explore the highlights of Kanazawa for those with limited time. If we had more time, would have loved to go to the surrounding areas with him too.

Very easy to arrange with TK regarding timing and location, he gives good advices on the local situation so we do not waste time queuing unnecessarily. He gives good cues for the photography sessions and we feel comfortable throughout the process. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer!
