U kunt ervoor kiezen om de zachte helling op eigen houtje te bewandelen of met de shuttlebus naar het observatiedek te gaan.

Superb experience during our stay in Kanazawa. The tour starts in the morning and ends in early afternoon, which is perfect. We had two hours and a half in Shirakawago, which is perfect to enjoy the views, walks, small shops and food. Our guide Yasushi was amazing: full of good vibes and energy, very clear and funny explanations of Japan and Shirakawa history. We 100% recommend and hope we can come back for other tours in Winter with Yasushi. Thank you again!!
We had a wonderful experience visiting Shirakawa-go with our guide Yasushi- san. From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He shared fascinating insights into the history, culture, traditions, and unique architecture of Shirakawa-go, which made the visit so much more meaningful. What really stood out was how attentive and thoughtful he was throughout the trip. He made sure we were comfortable, helped us navigate the area, and took us to some of the best viewpoints while also giving us plenty of time to enjoy the scenery at our own pace. His enthusiasm and genuine love for the region made the experience even more special. His English was very good and he was able to articulate all the details with a dose of humor. Thanks to him, our visit to Shirakawa-go was not just a sightseeing trip, but a memorable cultural experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the area.
Yasushi was absolutely an amazing guide from start to finish. I learned a lot of fun facts about Shirakawago from him. The tour was enjoyable. Must try hide beef in here! It's super good!
