Kakheti-tours is een reis naar het prachtige land van de vruchtbare Alazani-vallei met zijn middeleeuwse kloosters en unieke wijnmakerijen. De oostelijke regio van Georgië wordt omgeven door schilderachtige bergen en staat vol met historische bezienswaardigheden.

De eerste stop is in Badiauri, waar we de kans krijgen om traditioneel Kakhetiaans brood te proeven en het zelf te maken.
Sighnagi – Stad van de liefde In de stad Sighnaghi, die de klok rond bekend staat als trouwpaleis en natuurlijk zijn eeuwenoude geschiedenis, wordt u begeleid door een gids tijdens een wandeling langs de vestingmuur, die een adembenemend uitzicht biedt op de Alazani-vallei en de sneeuw- afgedekte toppen van het Kaukasusgebergte. Trouwens, de lengte van de muur in Sighnaghi is bijna de tweede na de Grote Muur van China.
Het klooster van St. Nino is gelegen in het dorp Bodbe, in de regio Sighnaghi, Kakheti. Het grondgebied van het klooster is versierd met bloembedden en struiken, wijngaarden en een geneeskrachtige bron. De geschiedenis van het klooster is nauw verbonden met de adoptie van het christendom.

We houden een laatste stop in de wijnkelder waar we allerlei soorten wijn zullen proeven die van deze kant komen en we zullen ook chacha proeven! "Chacha is zelfgemaakte wodka" We zullen ook kennismaken met de oude traditie en cultuur van het wijnmaken Gombori is een prachtig berggebied dat bekend staat om zijn adembenemende landschappen en rijke biodiversiteit. Het is populair voor wandel- en natuurwandelingen en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht en een serene ontsnapping aan het stadsleven. Ideaal voor avonturiers en natuurliefhebbers!

We had a wonderful day. Our guide was nice. He spoke very good English and explained a lot about Georgia and wine making. The group was small and the locations were interesting. The car had some problems so the ride back was hot…but this is unexpected. Great day out from Tbilisi
It was a lovely tour. We explored Bodbe Monastery, which offers a stunning view of the Alazani Valley. We also visited Sighnaghi and enjoyed a wine tasting. The guide was very friendly and engaging. We had the chance to travel in a separate minivan with just six of us, making it quite convenient. The driver was also very pleasant. Overall, it was a nice day trip.

We really enjoyed the tour! Our guide was fun and full of interesting stories and anecdotes. We tasted freshly baked bread, a variety of cheeses, and of course some great wine.
