Ontdek Gdańsk vanaf het water tijdens deze begeleide 5 + km kajaktour, eindigend met de iconische zonsondergang van de stad. Peddel door de bruisende grachten langs de Crane, Granary Island en de waterkant van de oude binnenstad en keer vervolgens terug naar het scheepswerfgebied om de zon achter de havenkranen te zien duiken - een werkelijk onvergetelijk uitzicht. Lanceer vanaf speciaal ontworpen steigers, blijf comfortabel met spuitrokken en bewaar waardevolle spullen veilig in de daarvoor bestemde kluisjes. Kleine groepen en ervaren gidsen zorgen voor een veilig, actief en schilderachtig avontuur voor zowel beginners als ervaren peddelaars.

De kraanvogel is een van de bepalende symbolen van Gdansk en vertegenwoordigt het weinige dat nog over is van de grote handelsleeftijd van de stad. Het werd in het midden van de 15e eeuw gebouwd als onderdeel van de grootste poort met twee torens aan de kustlijn en diende ook voor het installeren en verwijderen van scheepsmasten en voor het laden en lossen van zware vracht van schepen die aan de kade waren aangemeerd. Ongelooflijk genoeg kon dit door mensen aangedreven apparaat lasten van maximaal 2000 kg hijsen, waarmee het de grootste kraan in het middeleeuwse Europa is.

Gdansk Remontowa Shipyard is nog steeds een drukke, werkende werf en voor diegenen die geïnteresseerd zijn om schepen van alle groottes in verschillende stadia van reparatie of constructie te zien. Het is zo interessant om te peddelen en mannen te zien werken aan veerboten.
Geweldige kajaktocht door de rivier Motlawa rond twee eilanden van Gdansk: Granary Island en Olowianka Island. Gdańsk is vrij uniek gelegen op het kruispunt van zee- en rivierroutes, waterwegen van de rivier de Vistula aan de Baltische zeearm, evenals de rivieren Radunia en Motlawa. Best experience in Gdańsk! I would highly recommend it. Szymon was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and informative throughout. I'd never been kayaking before, but he made us feel completely safe and at ease from the start. Not only did he guide us brilliantly, but he also taught us so much about the city and the landmarks we'd been walking past all day. Great way to see Gdansk. Sun set was nice. Spotted a beaver and got introduced to a swan with attitude. Our tour guide Nick was lovely, gave us lots of informations , manouvered expertly on the at times busy canals. Would highly recommend

This was an absolute highlight of mine and my friend's trip! Our instructor, Nick, was just brilliant - helpful and friendly, with some great information about the city and advice on other things to do during our trip. We'd never used a double kayak before but got the hang of things pretty quickly and felt very safe. It was also nice getting to know the others in the group. Would certainly recommend, even for novice kayakers 😊

It was such a great little adventure, and a nice break from walking around the city all day. The guide was a really fun and good guide - he knew so much about the city of Gdansk. And to end the trip with the sunset in the harbor was really beautiful, among all the ships, the rust, the seagulls, the cranes and so on. Recommend!!

What amazing , Fabulous adventure. The Kayak Instructor was brilliant from start to finish . I felt a bit nervous to start with and worried . Highly recommended! Super friendly kayaking guide Nick from Australia gave safety instructions at the beginning and then it started quickly. It is a nice paddle tour with a fantastic old town setting of Gdańsk and then the port of Gdańsk. Too bad that due to the weather only the approach of sunset could be seen, but was not bad.
