Adembenemend uitzicht op de ondergaande zon tegen de achtergrond van scheepswerfkranen. Ontdek Gdańsk vanuit een waterperspectief aan boord van een replica van een Poolse rivierboot die al meer dan 400 jaar wordt gebruikt. Een intieme, houten en ruime 12-persoons boot brengt je naar plaatsen die niet beschikbaar zijn voor grote schepen, en dankzij het lage aantal passagiers voel je je op je gemak en speciaal. Je begint de cruise vanuit de voormalige gebieden van de scheepswerf van Gdańsk, die 170 jaar niet beschikbaar was voor bezoekers. Vervolgens ga je op een cruise op Motława - het centrum van de oude stad. Je ziet vele toeristische attracties, waaronder de ruïnes van het Duitse kasteel, waterpoorten die naar de stad leiden, de beroemde houten kraan uit de 15e eeuw, charmante oude huurkazernes en hun nieuwe omgeving. Je volgt een route die je ook monumenten en nieuwe gebouwen van het eiland Ołowianka en het Granary-eiland laat zien. Deze reis is ook een unieke en enige kans om gespecialiseerde schepen van dichtbij te bekijken, Gdansk-kranen.

De cruise vertrekt vanuit het post-werf gebied - van de voormalige keizerlijke scheepswerf, waar de productie van u-boten plaatsvond. En pal naast de bestaande scheepsbouwindustrie - karakteristieke Gdansk-kranen, gespecialiseerde schepen, exclusieve jachten en een unieke industriële atmosfeer.
We varen langs de lange dijk van de Motlawa-rivier en zien de overblijfselen van de muur van het Teutoonse kasteel met de Swan-toren, de waterpoort die naar de stad leidt, inclusief de beroemde kraan uit de 15e eeuw, de mooiste van de poorten - de St. Mary's Poort en de oudste poort - de groene poort.
Olowianka-eiland - Het functionele gebruik van het eiland is in de loop van de jaren veranderd. Op dit moment zien we op het eiland het Poolse Baltische filharmonisch orkest, de Koninklijke graanschuur, het National Maritime Museum en de brug van de steenhouwer. Granary Island - De Green Bridge verbindt het grootste deel van de oude stad met het Granary Island. Het is niet moeilijk om te raden wat er op het eiland lag gezien de naam (het eiland had een opslagplaats waar alle goederen werden bewaard). Momenteel zullen we op het eiland onder meer overblijfselen zien van oude graanschuren, waaronder het best bewaarde Blauwe lam van de graanschuur en hun moderne incarnatie (de reconstructie van het eiland na de Tweede Wereldoorlog). Galley-boottocht geeft een ander perspectief op de historische waarde van de Hoofdstad. Bij ons zie je unieke plekken die niet beschikbaar zijn voor wandelaars.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this as a group!!!! We were a group of 7 people, and the organizer refused to let us all on one boat (designed for 12 people). There was no apparent reason for this. At one point, there were only four people on a boat, but the crew simply ignored that and prioritized other travelers who were there as couples. We were told, without any apparent reason, that we had to split up. This naturally raised the question for us, why??? There was no answer to that. Absolutely incomprehensibly unfair and frustrating, as it was our last evening with friends. Unfortunately, the money has not been refunded yet.
As I explained to you on-site, I will reiterate it here to ensure complete clarity. For safety reasons, large groups (over 5 people) may be divided into two smaller ones. By law, we cannot exceed a strict limit of 12 passengers per boat, a rule that is also clearly outlined in our cruise terms and conditions. In your communication with Viator, you attempted to blame our skipper by falsely claiming he intended to split your group into three. This false statement is one of the main reasons we denied your refund request. Furthermore, you have threatened us with legal action; we are fully prepared to defend our position in court should the need arise. The decision to withdraw from the cruise was entirely your own.
While the pier is a bit difficult to locate, the cruise was fabulous. Our guides took their time, explaining points of interests and navigating through the river and canals. Well worth the time and cost.

This one is a must. Regardless of weather and wind. I have been on many canal tours, around Europe. But this one takes the price, for the most beautiful and cozy. And at the same time a friendly and skilled guide. Next time I come to Gdansk, I will probably take the same trip here again.

Beware. They will have left the dock at the time of the tour. Get there 15 minutes early because it will take you 5-10 minutes to figure out exactly where the tour is since there is no signs and a giant dirt parking lot you will need to navigate. We followed the address given and were not told to be there 10 minutes early. We got to the address on time but the google maps location is incorrect. Once we eventually saw the location and made our way there it was still confusing as there are no signs. But nonetheless the tour left at 7pm on the dot. Again we were not given any details or instructions. Best part is that they wouldn’t give us a refund and claimed we were incompetent for not finding the location
