Had a wonderful experience on this kayak tour! The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly . Saw some wildlife and collected beautiful shells in the crystal clear water ! I would highly recommend the tour guide with Luke ! Great time had by all !

Easy self guided 2 hour kayak trip at low tide. Open kayaks well maintained. They tell you where to looks for shells. We found such great ones we didn’t ho anywhere else to hunt. Saw at least one dolphin playing and pelicans.

Have your swim wear if you go when it's sunny out! Beaches are so beautiful you just want to take a swim!

Very fun! Nick was great. He was very interesting and helpful. He gave us really good instructions on the most effective way to kayak. He gave us interesting information about the island and all the different shells.

We rented kayaks for two hours and had a great time. The business is basically on the side of the road near the Little Hickory Beach in Estero Bay. This is the launching area for the kayaks. This area was hit hard by Hurricane Ian two years ago, but has been cleaned up significantly and is slowly being restored. The area is beautiful to kayak around. We first headed toward the Gulf to Hickory Island, a tiny beach island. The current was pretty strong against us, but the island is beautiful and good for shelling. We saw lots of pelicans. We didn't spend much time on the island because we wanted to kayak. We headed back into the bay, enjoying the current taking us along. We kayaked in the channel, surrounded by mangroves. We did see dolphin. The staff was great. They gave us a map of the area to guide us. They did have a waterproof bag for us to use. Expect to get a bit wet. You need to step into the water to get into the kayak. Plus there can be some splash that will get your seat a bit wet. Best to keep your phone in a waterproof pouch (not provided, but you can put your phone in the waterproof bag. It just won't be as accessible). Bring your own water and sunscreen, hat and sunglasses too. Wear flip-flops or some similar water shoe.

Terrific day paddling and stopping at beach. Kayak was ready to go and the guys were great giving instructions and guidance.

Nick was a great guide through the mangrove waters and the trip to the island for shelling. He is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed ‘tracking’ an iguana on the beach with him. He shared lots of good info about local birds, island history, etc. we recommend Adventures Kayaking!
