Beschrijving
Afhankelijk van of je de voorkeur geeft aan rode of witte wijn, met bubbels of zonder, zullen we een tour ontwerpen die aan jouw behoeften voldoet. Van gedurfde Shiraz tot zachte Merlots en perfecte Pinots. We bieden ook proeverijen aan van de unieke Zuid-Afrikaanse cultivar The Pinotage . De Pinotage is een rode wijndruif die kenmerkend is voor Zuid-Afrika. Het werd hier in 1925 gefokt als een kruising tussen Pinot noir en Cinsaut-druif en de kenmerkende Pinotage-wijnen zijn productief in Stellenbosch.

Ga met ons mee voor een wijnproeverij in onze luchtige Tasting Room of een schotel met eten en een glas wijn op onze schaduwrijke stoep met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en de dam. Neem plaats en bewonder de iconische Heath Nash-kroonluchter - gemaakt van 334 gerecyclede Spier-wijnflessen en met een gewicht van 370 kg - die boven de proeverij hangt. U kunt genieten van een vaste wijnproeverij (zie de lijst hieronder), met of zonder een foodpairing, of bestellen wat u maar wilt met een olijf-, kaas- of vleeswarenplankje.
Voor degenen die dapper genoeg zijn om de Stellenbosch-wijnlanden in de winter opnieuw te verkennen, kom met ons mee voor een hapje, een proeverij en ervaar enkele van onze nieuwe bekroonde wijnjaren die net zijn uitgebracht.
In het centrum van de Kaapse Wijnlanden ligt de Simonsberg, een fynbos-rijk massief, de thuisbasis van uitzonderlijke wijngaarden sinds de 17e eeuw. Het is op de zuidelijke hellingen, met een ongeëvenaard uitzicht over False Bay naar de Tafelberg, dat je de wijngaarden en olijfboomgaarden van Tokara zult vinden.
Delaire Graff, de ultieme ervaring in de Kaapse Wijnlanden, is toegewijd aan schoonheid in al haar vormen. Net zoals het polijsten van een diamant om zijn schittering te onthullen, heeft juwelier Laurence Graff een buitengewone natuurlijke omgeving getransformeerd tot een bestemming van wereldklasse voor wijn, kunst, keuken en ontsnapping uit het alledaagse. Vanwege de prijsstelling hier zullen we kijken, tenzij de klant de proefrekening voor zichzelf wil betalen?
Onze wijntraditie is geworteld in onze toewijding om consequent wijnen van internationale normen te produceren, waar iedereen van kan genieten.

Great tour of a beautiful wine country. We got lucky that the group only had our party, which made the experience feel very private and personalized. Our tour guide and driver, Andrew, was fantastic. He let us choose the wineries and attractions we wanted to visit and mapped out the route very efficiently. The last stop however was Andrew’s choice and that place was simply breathtaking. We had an absolute blast!
Having a private driver was amazing. Our driver was knowledgeable about the vineyards and the city of Stellenbosch. The day was serene and peaceful. We never felt rushed, we were able to take our time and enjoy the amazing beauty. We would definitely recommend this activity to any future travelers.

We had a lovely day sampling lots of different wines from different local vineyards. Our guide (Yomi) was lovely. She was attentive and worked hard to not only drive us back and forth but also to give us lots of information about Cape Town too. We even ordered a few bottles of wine to be delivered back home!

Yomi, our tour guide was top notch! She was on time, great energy, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She made sure we understood the timeline and what to expect. The wineries were beautiful with spectacular views. Thank you for leaving the best for last. It would be helpful in future tours to include cold water and good air conditioned vehicles. As Canadians the heat is unbearable and we are consuming a fair amount of alcohol through out the day. Overall our best tour guide of the trip so far. Thank you Yomi!!

Several wineyards were closed in 25. December. Despite request for confirmation on the trip in advance, we were assured that the trip would go as planned. On pick-up the 25. December, we were,however, informed that several wineyards were closed, and that we should visit a very expensive one, where we had to pay extra! Our trip was fully paid in advance, visit to 5 wineyards included. This was a suprise, and after some confusion, the guide accepted to cover the extra pay. We visited two wineyards, Delaire Graff and Boschendal. The visits were ok, but there was no opportunity to look at the production. The winetasting was very "touristic", with limited information about the wines from the waitors. Summarized: expensive trip, not good organized, beautiful wineyards and touristic tasting.

Absolutely amazing! We were picked up at our hotel at 9:00 AM, met by the cheerful Andrew. He took us through the whole day, 5 vineyards in total, and offered exceptional hospitality as well as trivia and facts along the way. The experience was 10/10, will recommend to all friends travelling to Cape Town.
