Geniet van een gedeelde dagtour door het Kaapse Schiereiland met hoogtepunten in de Bo-Kaap, Camp's Bay, Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak, Boulder's Penguins-kolonie, Kaap de Goede Hoop en Kaappunt. Bewonder de spectaculaire Atlantische kust terwijl je langs de schilderachtige kustlijn tussen de bergen en de oceaan reist. Bekijk het beste van Kaapstad tijdens een leuke, geplande tour terwijl je de ervaring deelt met een kleine groep met persoonlijke begeleide interactie.

Reisroute
Bezoekers worden tussen 7:15 en 8:00 uur opgehaald bij hun accommodatie in Kaapstad. Kort na het ophalen gaan we verder met een korte drive-by stadstour om een beter begrip te krijgen van de rest van de dagtour. We zien historische monumenten en gebouwen zoals Bartholomew Dias en de Slave Lodge in Adderley Street.
Onze eerste stop van de dag zal zijn in de Bo-Kaap. Hier zullen we een korte fotomoment hebben met de beroemde kleurrijke huizen in dit gebied, ook bekend als de Cape Malay Quarter. De kleurrijke huizen van Bo-Kaap dateren uit de Maleisische en Indonesische slavengeschiedenis en -cultuur die deel uitmaakt van het erfgoed van Zuid-Afrika.
We nemen een kustrit langs de schilderachtige Atlantische kust en passeren Clifton en Camp's Bay. We stoppen bij Maiden's Cove voor een van de meest spectaculaire fotomomenten van de dag. Bewonder de hemelsblauwe ongerepte stranden aan de ene kant en de Twelve Apostles-bergketens aan de andere kant.
We vervolgen onze tour langs deze prachtige kustlijn van de Atlantische kust en passeren Llandudno, de thuisbasis van enkele van de duurste woningen in Zuid-Afrika. We stoppen in de haven van Hout Bay, waar bezoekers de mogelijkheid hebben om een boottocht naar Seal (Duiker) Island te maken om de kolonie van de zeehond te bezoeken. De hele boottocht duurt 45 minuten. Voor degenen die de boottocht willen overslaan, is er een bezoek aan de havenmarkt om te winkelen of een kopje koffie in de nabijgelegen curiosawinkel.
We genieten van een rit langs Chapman's Peak Drive, die deel uitmaakt van de top vijf schilderachtige drives van de wereld. Chapman's piek staat trots op de tweede plaats in deze top vijf. We stoppen bij Chapman's Peak-uitkijkpunt voor een ongelooflijke fotomoment met uitgestrekte schilderachtige uitzichten op de oceaan.
We gaan langs de kust richting Noordhoek Farm Village, met eindeloze stukken ongerepte stranden en wit zand in de verte. Dit staat bekend als Noordhoek Beach en Long Beach. We stoppen bij Village Roast voor de beste koffie, vers gezet in Kaapstad (optioneel).
Simons Town is de marinehoofdstad van Kaapstad en Boulder's Beach is de thuisbasis van de Afrikaanse pinguïns. Maak een wandeling over de promenade voor een beter zicht op deze betoverende zeedieren. Misschien heb je het geluk om bij de poort te worden begroet door een of twee "Happy Feet".
Onze laatste stop voor de dag is bij Kaap de Goede Hoop en Cape Point Lighthouse. Hier leren bezoekers meer over het Bartholomew Dias navigatiebaken en het Vasco Da Gama navigatiebaken. Beide bakens zijn gemaakt van steen en wit geverfd met aan de bovenkant een kruis. Een bezoek aan Kaap de Goede Hoop is niet compleet zonder een foto achter het naambord van Kaap de Goede Hoop.
Dit is de meest zuidwestelijke punt in Afrika en ook de ontmoetingsplaats van twee zeestromingen: de koude Benguela en de warme stromingen van Agulhas. De meeste van onze bezoekers genieten van de korte wandeling naar de Cape Point-vuurtoren vanaf Kaap de Goede Hoop. Als u de korte wandeling echter wilt overslaan, kunt u de Flying Dutchman Funicular gebruiken om de top te bereiken. We raden lunch aan in het Two Oceans Restaurant of een afhaalmaaltijden in het nabijgelegen eetcafe.
Onze terugweg terug naar Kaapstad zal zijn via de Boyes Drive, door Fishhoek en stoppen bij het Shark spotters View Point in Muizenberg met een drop-off bij uw accommodatie tussen 17:30 en 18:00 uur.

Ophalen bij accommodatie in Kaapstad binnen een straal van 6 km. De exacte ophaaltijd wordt u de dag voor de tour meegedeeld. Ophalen begint: 1 uur voor vertrek. Mochten reizigers niet aan deze eis voldoen, dan hebben we van 7:00 - 7:30 uur een ontmoetingspunt in The Westin Hotel, tegenover CTICC. Kaapstad, 8801 Ophalen begint van 7:00 - 8:00

Our guide, on the morning of the tour, told us we were being given the wrong tour- a tour we had partly done the day before and asked whether we would wait in the bus 2 hours whilst other guests visited Table Mountain. We were also told that a visit to Seal Island was not possible which again according to other tour operators was not accurate. We have now booked with another operator and are waiting to be picked up. I am afraid that this company cannot be trusted.

This tour is great where it covers most of major attractions such as Table Mountain, Cape of good Hope, Cape Point, Bantry Bay beach, Boulder Beach penguin colonial, BoKaap neighborhood. If anyone is expected to take time for each place that won’t happen. The tour guide did time management well so he can cover these many places in a day. Well done! We’d recommend this tour!
