Geniet van een unieke kans om te zien waar de twee oceanen elkaar ontmoeten, met een privétour van een hele dag naar Kaap Agulhas vanuit Kaapstad. Bezoek het zuidelijkste puntje van het Afrikaanse continent en kijk uit over het water, waar de Indische Oceaan en de Atlantische Oceaan elkaar ontmoeten. met een stop om de Afrikaanse pinguïns in Betty's Bay te zien.

De Cape Agulhas-tour is een geweldige manier om een onvergetelijke dag te creëren tijdens je reis door Kaapstad. Je wordt om 06:30 of 07:00 uur opgehaald bij je accommodatie/hotel in Kaapstad (afhankelijk van je voorkeur voor tussenstops op de route. Je reist naar Kaap Agulhus langs de N2. Geniet onderweg van het landschap.
We vervolgen onze reis met een optionele stop bij de Peregrine Farm Stall in Grabouw, gelegen in de prachtige en vruchtbare Elgin-vallei. Peregrine biedt lokaal, vers voedsel dat ook vers wordt gekweekt en het is een aanbevolen stop voor koffie.
Caledon is een stad in de Overberg-regio van de West-Kaap, Zuid-Afrika. Caledon ligt ongeveer 100 kilometer (62 mijl) ten oosten van Kaapstad en ligt naast mineraalrijke warmwaterbronnen. Het stadje dankt zijn ontstaan aan de warmwaterbronnen op de hellingen van de Klein Swartberg. De hete mineraalbaden maken tegenwoordig deel uit van het Caledon Casino Hotel & Spa, een elegant etablissement, wereldwijd bekend om zijn warme gastvrijheid, goed uitgeruste conferentiecentrum, een verscheidenheid aan sportvoorzieningen en schoonheidssalon.
Napier is een dorp vol karakter en charme, slechts twee uur buiten Kaapstad. Die ontstond in 1838 door een geschil tussen twee buren, Michiel van Breda en Pieter Voltelyn van der By. Het dorp is nu een mix van eeuwenoude huisjes en moderne huizen, omgeven door glooiende landerijen. In het verleden stond het dorp bekend om zijn smeden en wordt nu herdacht door het jaarlijkse Horse and Cart Festival.
Bredasdorp is vernoemd naar de eerste burgemeester van Kaapstad, Michiel van Breda, die ook wordt beschouwd als de vader van de merinoschapenindustrie in het land. Tegenwoordig is Bredasdorp het economische centrum van de Kaap Agulhas-regio voor lokale landbouw.
Struisbaai is een schilderachtig dorpje gelegen in de zuidelijkste regio van Zuid-Afrika, waar de Indische en Atlantische Oceaan elkaar ontmoeten. Struisbaai ligt op slechts vier kilometer van Kaap L'Agulhas. De twee steden kunnen als één worden aangezien
Bij aankomst kunt u genieten van een wandeling over het pad dat u naar het officiële ontmoetingspunt van de twee oceanen brengt. Hier kun je een foto maken met één voet in de Indische oceaan en de andere voet in de Atlantische oceaan. Dit is tevens het meest zuidelijke puntje van Afrika. Verken een van de oudste vuurtorens in Zuid-Afrika, hier bij Kaap Agulhas.
Hermanus is beroemd om zijn walvissen. Men kan Southern Right Whales in de winter en halverwege de lente zien vanaf de kronkelende klifpaden, per boot voor meer avontuur. Hermanus organiseert eind september een jaarlijks walvisfestival om de terugkeer van de walvissen naar de baai tijdens de paartijd te vieren. U kunt ook lunchen in een van de vele restaurants aan zee in Hermanus. (Gelieve aan te geven of we u kunnen helpen met het reserveren van een restaurant.) Je hebt een optionele stop in de wijnvallei Hemel-en-Aarde, net achter Hermanus. Hier raden we een wijnproeverij aan bij Creation Wine Estate
Op de terugweg naar Kaapstad stoppen we bij Stony Point Penguins Colony voor een bezoek aan deze betoverende zeedieren. Stony Point is een van de grootste pinguïnkolonies in Zuid-Afrika.
Na uw laatste stop bij Stony Point, keren we terug naar Kaapstad voor uw drop-off bij uw hotel / accommodatie in Kaapstad.

We booked the tour to Cape Agulhas through Viator and are completely satisfied. Our tour guide Alex was just sensational!! Punctually at 07:00 we were picked up at the hotel. Alex gave us an insane amount of interesting information about country and people on the drive. The first highlight was the penguins at Stoney Point. We were just steps away from the animals. Then we continued to Cape Agulhas. A real experience! Among other things also through Alex this day has been a real highlight in our holiday. Highly recommend!

Fantastic day exploring Cape point & more! Clement was hugely knowledgeable about the area, had lots to share and really tailored the day to our wants. He planned out our day in the morning and pivoted where needed allowing for lunch reservation time and time to complete other activities. This was awesome. We were collected by Clement at 7am on the dot. We drove from Cape Town learning all about life here across all of society. We stopped for coffee, morning tea and a comfort stop before heading straight to Cape Agulhas. Clement was a valuable asset in his role of guide making sure that we made the most of the opportunity by allowing time to walk along the board walk before climbing the lighthouse. He also identified a place where we could by some magnets. We headed to Hermanus where we had lunch on the headland with incredible vistas. We had a chance to walk down the coast where Clement met us with the car. Driving back towards Cape Town, we stopped to see penguins at Stoney Point and arrived back at our accommodation about 5:30pm. The trip was exceptional and Clement's company made it even better. It was nice to have genuine conversation with a Cape Town local rather than the banter usually exchanged. Don't miss this experience.
