Ontdek museum onder de blote hemel en gastronomisch marmer, prachtige stad Travnik. Geboorteplaats van Nobelprijswinnaar Ivo Andrić beroemde Joegoslavische schrijver. In de stad kun je The Forth Stari Grad (oude stad) zien, die een van de mooiste en meest bewaard gebleven faciliteiten van het middeleeuwse Bosnië vertegenwoordigt, waarop latere periodes een specifiek stempel hebben gedrukt. Na Travnik reis je naar een van de mooiste steden in Bosnië, stad Jajce. Gelegen aan de oevers van de rivieren Pliva en Vrbas, ooit koninklijk, nu een ander museum onder de blote hemel met 26 nationale monumenten. In het centrum van de stad kunt u een prachtige waterval van 21 meter lang zien en voelen die zich tussen de 12 mooiste ter wereld bevindt. Heel dicht bij de stad Jajce zijn de Watermolens. Plaats van ongelooflijke schoonheid en sprookjesachtige uiterlijk.

Sta op en schijn! Het is 8:00 uur en de perfecte tijd om onze reis te beginnen. Onze eerste stop is het mooiste en best bewaarde fort in Bosnië en Herzegovina. The Old Forth of Travnik werd gebouwd in de 14e eeuw tijdens het Koninkrijk Bosnië, maar het huidige uiterlijk is het resultaat van de Ottomaanse bouwers.
Maak je geen zorgen als je geen koffie hebt gehad! Perfecte plek voor traditionele Bosnische koffie is "Plava Voda" (blauwe waterbronnen).
De volgende stop is de stad Jajce. Open sky museum met waterval in het centrum van de stad. Terwijl je naar het Jajce-fort loopt en als je door de stadspoorten gaat, kom je binnen in een stad gebouwd voor koningen. Fort van Jajce is onderdeel van de oude binnenstad van Jajce en een wonder van de Bosnische middeleeuwse architectuur
Catacomben van Jajce is de naam die door de lokale bevolking wordt gegeven aan de ondergrondse christelijke kerk, dus het is geen echte "catacombe". De kerk is uitgehouwen in een enkele rots of in een grot in laat-romaanse stijl.
Wat de stad Jajce zo uniek maakt, is dat je een prachtige waterval van 21 meter lang kunt zien en voelen die zich tussen de 12 mooiste ter wereld bevindt.
Watermolens aan de rivier de Pliva liggen op slechts 5 kilometer afstand van het centrum van Jajce. Twintig watermolens uit de middeleeuwen zijn gebouwd tussen het meer Small en Large Pliva. Vanwege het sprookjesachtige uiterlijk maken ze een geweldige plek voor foto's. Verbazingwekkend genoeg, sommige zijn nog steeds in gebruik. Na de Watermolens rusten we naast de oevers van het Pliva-meer, de beste plaats om te lunchen en klaar te staan om terug te keren naar Sarajevo.

Our tour guide Mirza was awesome, my fiance and I really enjoyed this tour! We were lucky to only had 1 other couple with us so we were able to take our time and really enjoy the sights. Mirza was very knowledgeable and just a fun personality to be around. We had plenty of time to venture out on our and explore which we loved. My fiance and I are picky eaters and tour guide made sure to customize our sandwich order which we really appreciated. Overall Highly recommend this tour!

According to weather fotecasts a few days before the trip it was supposed to rain, But it really changed to the better. Mirza, our guide, was a real sport - Very informative and talkative. Well balaced time to explore each place and even some time for a coffee or a beer at the watermills before the long jurney back to Sarajevo. With this trip I have now visited Bosnia, Herzegovina and Srpska…

This was a lovely day with a very kind and flexible guide. It was definitely a long day, but well worth it. Our guide took us to the farthest site first, which was good because we got to rest a little longer before the day started. It also made the rest of the car trips feel much shorter.

Although the places we visited were interesting there was a lot of time spent in the car and only half an hour or so at each location. Would have preferred less stops and more time at lake for example. Description said lunch at the lake but there wasn’t enough time
It was so nice visiting these places with Ensar. He was a great guide and an excellent driver. There were only three people in our group which made for a wonderful, personal day. The sights were beautiful and Ensar’s suggestions were excellent. He shared his personal experiences of life in Bosnia and was like spending the day with a friend. We spent the day with a small group of four people plus our guide Ahmed. The settlement with information about the meeting point etc. went wonderfully. The tour was good overall, even if we sat quite a lot on the bus because of the distances. The first stop in Travnik was quite long, but not uninteresting. In Jajce, on the other hand, I would have liked to stay a little more, here are also the highlights of the trip with the visit of the waterfalls and the watermills. Not an outstanding trip overall, but it's worth his money. Thanks to Ahmed for a nice day!
