De tour begint met een pick-up direct bij het Isafjordur cruiseschipdok. Uw lokale Gids verwelkomt u bij het uitstappen en geeft een korte introductie van de tour. Zodra iedereen aan boord is van het comfortabele voertuig begint de reis naar de schilderachtige Westfjorden.
Verlaat Isafjordur en reis door de Vestfjordagong tunnel, die uitkomt in een landschap van dramatische fjorden steile bergen en rustige vissersdorpjes. Geniet van panoramische uitzichten langs de kustwegen terwijl uw Gids verhalen vertelt over de levenscultuur en de natuur in de Westfjorden.
Aankomst bij de prachtige Dynjandi Waterval, de hoogste waterval in de Westfjorden en een van IJslands meest indrukwekkende natuurlijke bezienswaardigheden. Dynjandi trapt meerdere lagen af waardoor een brede sluierachtige formatie ontstaat. Gasten hebben de tijd om: - Loop het gemarkeerde pad richting de voet van de waterval - Maak foto's van de omliggende fjord en watervallen - Geniet van de rustige natuurlijke omgeving De wandeling is zacht en geschikt voor de meeste fitnessniveaus.
Na een bezoek aan Dynjandi gaat u verder door het rustige platteland van de Westfjorden voor een ontspannen culturele stop bij een lokale IJslandse boerderij. Hier ontmoet je vriendelijke IJslandse paarden, leer je over het traditionele boerenleven in deze afgelegen regio en geniet je van koffie of thee samen met een voorproefje van een traditioneel IJslands snoepje. Deze stop biedt een warme lokale ervaring en een kans om te ontspannen na de watervalwandeling.
Na het bezoek aan de boerderij leun achterover en geniet van de schilderachtige terugrit door fjorden en berglandschappen. Uw Gids zorgt voor een ontspannen terugreis naar de haven met voldoende tijd voor vertrek van uw cruiseschip. De tour wordt afgesloten met een drop-off bij de cruiseterminal van Isafjordur, waarmee een gedenkwaardige excursie van een halve dag langs de kust van Westfjorden wordt voltooid.

Tour itself was good. Unfortunately the guide was not Islandic and was unable to answer many of the questions asked.

Thought I already did review on this one, but in case it did not post correctly.. This was a good tour day. We lucked out with beautiful weather. The tour hit up amazing locations and our driver/guide was good. We did have some unfortunate disrespectful travellers who were late at different venues that affected time allotment to our other spots however, this was not the tour or operators fault. Please be respectful of times when due back to the buses as it affects everyone's day/experience.

This was a fantastic day full of great locations & sight seeing but what really stood out was our tour guides. He was great. Not only giving us a thorough history & information but we got a few minutes at extra stops/or he would slow down (obviously if safe to do so) and gave people a chance to view & get some pictures like a seal that was resting on the rocks, a couple of extra 5 min stops as we were on route to next location. It was fantastic as we had a great group of travelers that were on time and thus gave us those opportunities. The waterfalls are stunning and amazing! Just remember to wear proper footwear! So many tourists wearing basic shoes or sandals and then wondering why they are sliding, slipping and falling on rough, uneven terrain. Yes, hiking boots or shoes are a must! Overall, incredible day! Lots of fun sights, terrific driver/guide and respectful travellers and mini bus was a good transport that had wifi, AC etc Very much enjoyed this tour

The "farm" tour was somewhat limited, as really it was a guest house with horses, etc. The snack was excellent though.

Amazing waterfall. The hike up is difficult the higher you go but we made it to the top. Worth the effort. Also, go early as it’s very popular

The waterfall is a series of waterfalls and fabulous , the hike is for the sure footed . Michael a friendly , good guide.

The farm listed is not a farm. It was a hotel with 3 horses. The waterfall was great and our guide did a very nice job.
