Husky Hike - Geleide natuurwandeling met Siberische Huskies

Beschrijving

Really great fun, the dogs were all so friendly, our guide was terrific! Beautiful hike thru the forest ! A must do in Fairbanks !
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re thrilled you had a great time husky hiking with us. The forest trails and our friendly pups make for a pretty special combo, and we’re so glad you enjoyed both. We’ll pass your compliments along to your guide! Hope to welcome you back for a winter adventure next time ❄️🐾
My daughter and I are not dog lovers, but this experience changed us in a great way. The dogs are very friendly and know what they are doing on the trail. Our tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable about the dogs and Alaska. It was also a beautiful trail to walk with the dogs. Would highly recommend.
We loved our walk with huskies Svid and Stevie. Guide Alyssa (and Everest) were fantastic at leading us through some beautiful trails (while taking care not to startle moose who had recently been in the area with their young offspring). We really admired the team's commitment to living off the grid and raising a beautiful family of huskies.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your walk with Svidd, Stevie, Alyssa, and Everest. It means a lot to us that you appreciated the care we take with our huskies and the land we call home. We feel incredibly lucky to share this lifestyle and these trails with our guests—thank you for being part of it!
The bar is pretty high for Alaska. It's a gorgeous place with the most helpful and friendly people. Regardless, the Arctic Dog day hike was my favorite part of my trip! I hiked with a sweet dog named Winken who wanted nothing more than to get me to the top of the ridge. We had a beautiful day and everyone on the hike was friendly and outgoing. Lisbet, our host and guide, could not have been more gracious and helpful. She's sweet and lovely, and has great stories to tell. Most of all, loves her dogs more than anything. She also makes a mean chocolate cake that we got to enjoy when we reached summit. This trip isn't just for dog lovers; it's a great way to experience the off-grid lifestyle and Alaska back country.
I booked this excursion for a group of 8, including a one year old, for something fun and outdoors to do in Fairbanks. Our group traveled from Fairbanks to Vancouver over two weeks and this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We LOVED every bit of our time with Lisbet. We all got to pick out our own husky which was fun in itself. Meeting all the dogs and learning about their unique behaviors was a blast. Hiking up the mountain I hardly had to do any work! Cloudberry pulled me the entire way up and had me laughing and smiling the whole time. Lisbet let us hang out at the fire pit as we ate her homemade brownies, drank hot chocolate, picked wild berries, and learned about her life as a musher. By the end of the afternoon we were all sad to leave. We hope to visit Lisbet and her pups again in the winter and see her dogs really work!
