Halte 1 – Het Grand Egyptian Museum (ongeveer 2 uur) Geniet van een onvergetelijke reis door de grootste schatten van het oude Egypte, allemaal tentoongesteld in 's werelds grootste museum gewijd aan een enkele beschaving.
Halte 2 – De Grote Piramides van Gizeh (ongeveer 2,5 uur) Bezoek een van de Zeven Wonderen van de Oude Wereld. Bewonder de Grote Piramide van Khufu, verken de kleinere piramides van Khafre en Menkaure en leer de geheimen van hun constructie van je Egyptoloog Gids.
Halte 3 – De Grote Sfinx (ongeveer 45 minuten) Sta oog in oog met de legendarische Sfinx — de bewaker van de piramides. Hoor fascinerende verhalen en maak gedenkwaardige foto's op deze wereldberoemde site.

Sarwat was an excellent tour guide. Very helpful and informative. Pickup and transport arrangement was poor We stopped about 15 minutes after pick up in a random location for about an hour and a bit no explanation before taking off again.

We booked direct with FTS via Whatsapp. Communication was pretty good to check prices and book. We had a great guide Ibrahim Hamed, very pleasant, knowledgeable and managed our time well, despite our late arrival. We actually dropped (or there was no mention of Nile Cruise) so we had enough time at Pyramids and Grand Museum. It really was worth the pain of the journey to see the pyramids in person! And one of the last people to be able to "touch" them as they will rope them off from October 2026 so you can't stand on any stones or touch the pyramid itself. Make sure you opt for the "Grand Egyptian Museum" rather than Cairo museum so it is the new museum by the pyramids and you get to see Tut's Treasures. It was a very early start from Hurghada as first pick up at 00.10am! We didn't arrive to Giza until 10am! We had a small bus tour with only 6 people which was great, however, the bus was older with not great aircon (it worked, just not very well) and pretty cramped. Glad we had so few people so we could spread out around the bus. The drivers were very uncommunicative - little to no information about the journey, when we would stop, how long for etc. So you could not prepare for toilet stops. Not long into the journey out of Hurghada we had a breakdown of some description (we believe flat tyre). Drivers said nothing, just jumped out and fixed whatever. At 2am in the morning in the middle of nowhere, it can be quite disconcerting to not know what is going on. We arrived to first state checkpoint told we might be there for up to 30mins or so. We were actually here for 1.5hrs. Again, it would be helpful for drivers to explain these checkpoints. Or for FTS to let you know when booking, first time travellers it is useful to know about them. We arrived to second state checkpoint and again held for maybe 30-45mins. No updates/information from drivers. On this long journey there is only one official rest stop. We did manage to go to toilet again when they stopped for petrol. It was only on arrival and picking up guide, we found out the Giza plateau opened late due to fog which is why so long at the second checkpoint. Journey home was quicker we left around 5.30pm and last drop off back at hotel around 11pm. Again, be honest about stops. 2 stops for "clean toilets" for tourist trap shops - one for oil/perfume and one for papyrus art. Just be up front in tour descriptions/itinerary. Lunch at local restaurant was quite good - buffet style with plenty of time to eat. Key takeaways: - Hopefully you get a great local guide - Be prepared for a cramped bus - Expect to be taken to tourist shops - As everywhere in Egypt, toilets are hit and miss, always carry wipes/toilet roll and small notes (usually 20le) to use the loo. (Again might have been helpful for drivers to tell you this before getting off bus at the services.)

Aya was a very good guide, very informative, and whenever we had questions she knew what to say. They picked us up from Hurghada and it was a trip that went by quickly and was very comfortable. The pyramids were an incredible experience to see in person, and Aya knew how to guide us on where to go and everything. Then we went to a perfume shop, we ate very well at a buffet, and to a very cool papyrus shop too. We finished by seeing the GEM museum, very cool but very quick to have time to return to Hurghada. Very good value for money experience.
One must highlight the two drivers, they did a super job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Of course, the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum are also absolutely recommended. I have to give a not-so-good recommendation to the restaurant for our lunch. That was more like a bad cafeteria with quick throughput. All buses stopped there. The food was unfortunately not even average and a can of Coke and a Sprite cost a whopping 8€. Our tour guide was informative but unfortunately also intent on selling additional offers. So we were almost pressured into booking a camel ride at the pyramids (which my daughter and I actually categorically rule out because of the animal cruelty) because otherwise the group could not stay together. So we booked this additionally for 30€. Unfortunately, we could have saved ourselves that, since the ride was about 600 meters long and after that it continued on foot with all participants. After the pyramid tour, the tour guide steered us into a place to cool off and have a free drink before lunch. That turned out to be a sales event for perfume oil. When no one wanted to buy anything, the staff's mood became rather cold and we were asked to leave. It could actually be a nice experience if the organizer would limit themselves to cultural aspects and head more towards local spots. Therefore, only recommended to a limited extent for me. Also worth mentioning are the two drivers. They were super!!!
The guide himself was quite good, however we were practically forced by him to do the camel or carriage tour, which we had neither booked nor wanted to do. That cost us an EXTRA 15 euros per person!! Although it must be said that these 15 euros also included admission to the tomb and a small pyramid. Nevertheless, these sudden extra costs imposed by the guide on-site left an impression of a rip-off;((
Great excursion to Cairo! I really loved the experience. A day rich in discoveries, with a special mention for Dina, our French-speaking guide, who was incredible from start to finish. Passionate, friendly, and very professional, she knew how to make the visit even more interesting. Thank you, Dina, for this beautiful day and these good times. I recommend it without hesitation!
I really liked our guide Ibrahim Kamel, he is a very professional person and it shows that he likes history in general and values his country's history a lot. Explained everything that was necessary for our trip to go well. Always gave us space and time to be comfortable and take photos ☺️
