Hurghada: Het Grote Egyptische Museum en de piramides samen

Bezoek het beroemde Egyptische Museum met zijn talloze tentoonstellingen doordrenkt van geschiedenis. Bewonder het laatste bestaande wereldwonder - een fantastische ervaring! In totaal vind je hier drie piramides: de piramides van Chephren, Cheops en Menkerinos. U kunt de omgeving te voet, te paard of op een kameel verkennen. Duur tussen 2 en 3 uur. Geniet van een boottocht op de Nijl. (tegen betaling) Na een bezoek aan de piramides van Gizeh gaan we naar de Grote Sfinx, veruit de grootste en bewaarde Sfinx. Het bestaat uit een mensenhoofd op het lichaam van een leeuw. De Sfinx werd uitgehouwen uit de overblijfselen van een kalkstenen heuvel die diende als steengroeve voor de Grote Piramide.

Rond 1:00 uur 's nachts wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel en in een touringcar met airconditioning naar Caïro gebracht. Bij aankomst wordt u verwelkomd door uw gids, die u gedurende de hele tour zal begeleiden.

De excursie gaat verder met een bezoek aan de grote piramides van Cheops, Chephren en Menkaure. De piramidetour eindigt bij de Sfinx en de tempel eromheen. Vanwege het konvooi kan de reis van Hurghada naar Caïro (enkele reis) tussen de 6 en 8 uur duren, aangezien alle bussen en auto's om veiligheidsredenen door een politie-escorte moeten worden begeleid.
Aan het eind van de dag, omdat alle bussen moeten wachten op het konvooi dat van Caïro naar Hurghada reist, maakt u een of twee van de volgende haltes: karakteristieke bezoeken aan het papyrusmuseum en de etherische oliefabriek. Deze twee attracties laten je kennismaken met oude Egyptische technieken voor het maken van papyrus en essences. Booked as it was advertised as a small group, however the longest part of the trip is travelling on a full big coach, seats are allocated however we were made to move seats to accommodate a a couple of girls which resulted in us sitting in the back row of the bus where the seats are smaller and both myself and husband had no access to air conditioning for the journey making it the most uncomfortable journey ever, We were unable to sleep on the journey resulting in us being absolutely exhausted and soaking with sweat when we arrived at Cairo, the whole tour from pick up to drop off back at hotel was 24.5 hrs
Really enjoyed the trip, our guide Hussein how good at his profession that we were in ancient Egypt for a moment. Completely assisted us with everything

Gamil Hassan prepared a great tour for us. He was very proffesional, kind, and presented the locationas in a very interestig way. The pyramids are as spectacular as I imagined and The Grand Egyptian Museum in Kairo is the most most beautiful museum I have seen so far. The security and presentation of the arartifacts are like nothing I've ever seen. Museums around the world: take notes. An unforgetable experience. Everyone should visit. Highly recommend.

Gamil hassan was great. He was very profesional, has a lot of knowledge and is very patient and kind with turists. New museuim in Kairo is fantastic, build with cement glass and lights. You must see it.
Incredible day and guide Mustapha was very kind and attentive to us, the pyramids, the museum are magnificent! A very beautiful experience! The heat is grueling and the day is very long without being able to really sleep beforehand, to be taken into account with young children or elderly people.
Although our actual time spent in Cairo was enjoyable & our guide was superb (Gamil) please beware that if you are travelling as a family of 3 (as we were) you may well be asked to move seats to accommodate other passengers during the journey from Hurghada to Cairo, which made the journey extremely uncomfortable due to the poor air con on the back row of the coach & no air con at all if you are sitting in the centre seat of the back row. The uncomfortable journey from Hurghada to Cairo is the reason for the 2 star review i have given.
