De wandeling naar de Humantay-lagune is een van de meest pittoreske eendaagse tochten die we in Cusco aanbieden. Deze tour neemt je mee op een reis door de Andessteden Limatambo en Mollepata, waar de inheemse Quechua-bevolking de Inca-tradities levend houdt. Wandel over het 90 minuten durende bergpad naar de oevers van de lagune en geniet van een van de meest verbluffende uitzichten op een Andesvallei in de regio. Op een heldere dag weerspiegelen de adembenemende wateren van het turquoise meer de met sneeuw bedekte toppen van de gletsjerberg Humantay. Onze medewerkers komen u om 05.00 uur ophalen bij uw hotel. We gaan aan boord van ons privévervoer om ten noordwesten van de stad Cusco naar de stad Mollepata te reizen. Deze reis toont de uitbundige vallei van de rivier de Apurímac. Very good choice! The place is beautiful and the service was good! The only thing to improve would be locomotion! It had no good heating and the driver drove very fast. Everything else spectacular

Laguna Humantay is a magical place, walking ascent an average of an hour and a half the view of the lagoon and the reflection of the glacier in the turquoise waters is spectacular an excellent experience.

The Humantay lake is beautiful. However, the climbing is quite hard if you are not used to this attitude (4200 meters above the sea level). Make sure the guide has an oxigen balloon with him. I would recommend to take this company, they include horses for the way up and hiking poles, it make the climbing much easier and pleasant, good service and good organization.
