Bekijk het weidse landschap van de Peruaanse Andes, door het Vilcabamba-gebergte, en ontdek dit heilige Inca-meer. Onderweg wordt u omringd door torenhoge met sneeuw bedekte bergen en prachtige valleien. • De trektocht voert u door de mooiste landschappen van de regio. • Je maakt kennis met de esoterische en mystieke aspecten van deze lagune. • Maak een paardrijtocht naar de top en haal het meeste uit uw ervaring (optioneel). • Vind een perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van het smaragdgroene water van Lake Humantay. De tocht heeft een matige moeilijkheidsgraad, daarom moet je volledig geacclimatiseerd zijn voordat je aan deze activiteit begint.

Uw avontuur begint met een vroege pick-up van uw hotel in Cusco. Het duurt ongeveer 3,5 uur om vanuit Cusco bij Humantay Lake te komen, maar eerst stoppen we voor het ontbijt in een gezellig restaurant.
Voordat we aankomen bij het startpunt van onze wandeltocht, stoppen we in Mollepata voor het ontbijt in een gezellig restaurant.
Voordat u aan de trektocht begint, geeft onze Gids wat nuttige informatie zodat u veilig naar de top van de berg kunt lopen. De wandeling begint op 3.800 m boven zeeniveau en bereikt de 4.200 meter hoogte, daarom moeten we het rustig en langzaam doen. Eenmaal op de top van de berg, zul je beseffen dat al dat harde werken zijn vruchten heeft afgeworpen! Onze gidsen leggen u het ontstaan van de lagune uit en geven u wat vrije tijd zodat u dit natuurwonder ten volle kunt waarderen. Na ons bezoek keren we terug naar de bussen zodat we verder kunnen naar onze lunchstop. Het zou ongeveer 45 minuten moeten duren op weg naar de parkeerplaats.
Na een hele dag vol avontuur is het nu tijd voor een welverdiende lunch. We hebben een restaurant geselecteerd waar je het beste van de Peruaanse keuken kunt proeven. Na de lunch gaan we richting Cusco waar u kunt kiezen om afgezet te worden bij uw hotel of bij de Plaza de Armas. Als we klaar zijn met alle activiteiten, keren we terug naar Cusco. Afzetten gebeurt bij uw accommodatie.

Wonderful staff, Junior guide and driver Jhon, very solicited and attentive. The ride was fast, but I super understand the distance between regions. Super worth it, I recommend the operator.

Wow! We had a brilliant day - exhausting but brilliant. With a super early start and a bumpy two hour ride to breakfast, we started to wonder if we had made the right choice. Breakfast was great and a good opportunity to get to know the rest of the group. We then continued up the winding road to the start of our hike. Rodger, our guide and McQueen, the driver were lovely and helped to make the day really special. Rodger is so knowledgeable, funny and kind and we felt safe and cared for throughout the experience. He helped and encouraged us when we got tired and encouraged us to rest whenever we needed to. I had no intention of taking a horse initially but by the time we got there, I looked up at the rest of the climb and decided to follow the others in taking a horse - best $20 dollars I spent on the trip! My husband thought he would try walking but after five minutes practically begged for a horse! As we reached the top, we were welcomed by two condors flying over the beautiful lake - simply incredible! The lake is one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever seen - a memory that I will cherish forever. Thank you Rodger!

Incredible experience. One of the most beautiful places I've ever met in my life. The trail is quite exhaustive. Altitude is a very important factor to consider. But it is worth it, as the tour is charming throughout its journey. And in the end we are rewarded with the view of the lagoon. Very important to take precautions for altitude. There is the possibility of performing the horse trail.
