In slechts een paar uur tijd word je ondergedompeld in een wereld van rust, waar de natuur haar meest spectaculaire kleuren onthult. Genesteld tussen de torenhoge Andestoppen, creëert het hypnotiserende blauwgroene water van de lagune een opvallend contrast met de ruige, met sneeuw bedekte bergen die het omarmen. Tussen 4 en 5 uur ’s ochtends wachten we op u bij de ingang van uw hotel voor een schilderachtige rit van drie uur naar het charmante dorpje Mollepata (2900 m). Bij aankomst genieten we van een stevig ontbijt om op te laden voordat we verder gaan naar Soraypampa (3.850 masl / 12.631 ft), het startpunt van onze trektocht. Indien gewenst kunt u paarden huren van lokale dorpelingen voor een comfortabelere beklimming. Terwijl we wandelen, dompelen we ons onder in het adembenemende Andeslandschap en spotten we inheemse vogels en diverse flora en fauna die uniek zijn voor deze regio. Halverwege pauzeren we voor een lichte snack om onze energie aan te vullen voordat we onze bestemming bereiken: de betoverende Humantay Lagoon (4.200 masl / 13.779 ft). Hier zult u geboeid zijn door het prachtige turquoise water, perfect voor het maken van onvergetelijke foto's. Na wat ontspanning dalen we af naar Soraypampa, waar ons transport op ons wacht. Terug in Mollepata lunchen we voordat we terugkeren naar Cusco, ter afsluiting van een onvergetelijke reis.

Justin excellent guide, excellent agency service
Excellent trip, full of fun and quiet moments, with the help of our guide Liz, the climb like the descent was very comfortable and very easy, it is an excellent guide and gave us many tips and information about the lagoon!
I loved the experience, the treatment of the guides Franklin and Rodrigo was very good and I really enjoyed my visit to Peru. I highly recommend it.
This tour was my favorite of all my trip to Peru. Ronald is the most amazing Guide out there. It has a contagious energy that motivates you to take the challenge of climbing into the lagoon. Although the most important thing, from my point of view, is that deep love you have for your culture and endless respect for the mountain. He has vast experience and stories to tell. I really enjoyed this experience and am infinitely grateful to Ronald for sharing with us a little bit of the beauty of his culture.

If you’re coming to Cusco and planning a breathtaking adventure, you have to go with Guido Chavez as your guide. We were lucky enough to get to hang out with him two days in a row, first Humantay Lake and then Rainbow Mountain. Both were excellent! Highly recommend!
We traveled for 5 days and they were all excellent, the constant service was from Freddy Torres and Bernal, one our guide and the other the driver, both were very friendly and attentive all the time, as well as, they know their job well since they guided us and took us to our destinies safe, healthy and happy; We were in contact with them almost throughout the tour but the others from the agency were just as friendly and attentive. The hotel they take us to seems far from the center but once we get to know the place we can see that this is not the case and it is nice and safe. I would definitely go back with all the service because it was excellent.

Amazing and breathtaking location. Gido was patient and kind with my slower pace and arranged for horses for 3 of us. Gido shared his passion about the land, culture, history and beliefs and really elevated the experience for all of us. He took wonderful pictures of us too and we also enjoyed an authentic breakfast and lunch and great views on the road too. Highly recommend this trip and Gido.

Humantay Lagoon is a beautiful place!!! I don’t know if I will ever see such a place in my life again, it really is amazing!! The hard part is getting there but if you lean on a little horse everything will be easier. Our guide Eddy was very cheerful and friendly, supported us in everything we need, definitely highly recommended!
