Op weg naar Hue zullen we stoppen met sightseeing bij: - Hai Van Pass - Lang Co Bay - Lap An Lagoon Wanneer we aankomen in Hue, zal de gids met ons meedoen, dan zullen we bezoeken: - Khai Dinh-tombe - Citadel - Thien Mu-pagode Breng je vervolgens naar je hotel in Da Nang. Je vertrekt om 08:00 uur en komt rond 19:30 uur terug naar je hotel in Da Nang / Hoi An

De Hai Van-pas is een van de mooiste heuvels op een heuvel in Vietnam, waar u groene bomen kunt zien in tegenstelling tot golven in de blauwe zee. Op de top van de pas, zijn er de overblijfselen van lang geleden, versterkte gateway. De Amerikaanse en Franse bunkers in de Hai Van-pas bieden een breder uitzicht op de stad zonder een steile klim. Op de top is een klein ruststation waar de tour van Hue naar Hoi An pauze verwelkomt bezoekers met lokale en koffie aangeboden.
Slechts 60 km van Hue, op de tour is het serene vissersdorp Lang Co. Het ongelooflijke strand van Lang Co werd in 2009 erkend als een van de 30 mooiste baaien ter wereld met de glooiende zee, fijn en schoon zand, geweldig gematigd Golf. Bezoekers kunnen in het restaurant de lokale zeevruchten proeven op het water aan het einde van de loopbruggen die over het water hangen. Daarom worden er enkele watersporten aangeboden waarvan u kunt genieten.
Vanuit de verte ziet het dorp eruit als een strook zijde die kronkelt tussen de Phu Gia-pas in het noorden en de Hai Van-pas in het zuiden. Groene bomen, kristalhelder water, vooral het beeld van de wolk die de bergen bedekt, maakt het dorp fascinerend en glamoureus
Anders dan de traditionele architectuur, werd het graf van Khai Dinh gebouwd met moderne materialen zoals staal en gewapend beton onder de westerse invloeden. Het graf is toegankelijk door 127 treden te beklimmen die worden begrensd door drakenleuningen. Als je naar boven gaat, zie je het huis van het grafschrift en vele standbeelden van mandarijnen, paarden, soldaten ... op de binnenplaats
De Hue Citadel is een van de meest bekende bestemmingen in Hue en werd door UNESCO erkend als het Wereld Cultureel Erfgoed. Het hele paleiscomplex bestaat uit drie delen: het eerste deel is de Citadel die werd gebouwd van 1805 tot 1832, door de tijd en de oorlog, het heeft nog steeds originele bijna 140 kleine en grote constructies. De Citadel werd gebouwd voor defensieve doeleinden. Het tweede deel is Imperial City, het belangrijkste deel van de citadel, gebouwd van 1804 tot 1833 onder het bewind van Minh Mang King, Imperial City omvat meer dan 100 architecturale werken voor koninklijke paleizen en heiligdommen en het was voor de aanbidding en ceremoniedoeleinden. Het laatste deel is Purple Forbidden City, gebouwd in begin 1803 onder het bewind van Gia Long King. De Purple Forbidden City werd gediend voor de koning en de koninklijke familie. De Citadel is een van de symbolen van de stad Hue en een plaats waar je naartoe moet gaan voor iedereen die naar Hue komt.
Volgens een legende droomde Lord Nguyen Hoang over een dame die zei dat de Heer zou komen om deze pagode te bouwen voor de voorspoed van het land, gelovend in de woorden van de Dame, beval Lord Nguyen Hoang om deze pagode te bouwen en noemde het Thien Mu pagode die betekent "Heaven Lady". Thien Mu Pagoda, gelegen op de Ha Khe-heuvel, op 5 km afstand van de stad, is de meest fascinerende en oude pagode die wordt beschouwd als een van de symbolen van Hue City.

Great way to see Hue! We are glad we hired a private guide and driver. Tam was an awesome guide, teaching us so much about the history and culture of the area and answering all of our questions. Tai was a great driver, navigating through Hai Van Pass safely on the way back with photo opportunities. The lunch spot was delicious too. Very happy with our choice to book this tour, would highly recommend it!
Hieu was very informative and took us through several different sites in Hue. The food was delicious at the lunch stop. And the transportation was very comfortable.

Enjoyed seeing the history of Vietnam’s kings and beautiful palace grounds and tomb. Stopped by incense village and tried my hand at making an incense stick. Visited beautiful pagoda and temple with important historical significance. Enjoyed lovely lunch. Tour guide Ruby did a fantastic job!

It all went very well. Because it was our first time to make a several-hour drive, we were expectant, but the driver drove safely and carefully. The only thing that would improve would be if he could communicate better in English. Our guide in Hué spoke well English, was very active and well disposed, available. We really liked it. ;)

Hue is a lovely town with a lot of history. The monuments and Imperial City were amazing. The driver was polite and safe. The car was clean. The tour guide Ruby was just amazing. She was courteous and knowledgeable. She really wanted me to enjoy the tour. She even brought a raincoat and little rain booties for me. Ruby shared both historical details but also information about the culture. She was an open, sweet, highly intelligent person and it was delightful to spend the day with her in this amazing city. She also took me to a local restaurant to try foods special to Hue. She really wanted me to try the salt coffee and that was super-fun to go to the coffee shop. The only issue is Hue is quite far from Hoi An and I did not realize that. Better from Da Nang.

We were super disappointed in the way BNT tour operator had organised and did not communicate anything until the night before of the tour only until I had reached out. The fact that there was no communication up till the night before the tour was very disappointing. With the trip to Hue being 3 hours one way, it was an awkward ride. BNT stated in their tour itinerary that there will be an English speaking driver howerever this is false advertising. The sight seeing places to stop over could have been better in the sense if there was a coffee shop to stop by or other options of scenery. BNT operator should also advertise the hours travelling by car takes as nowhere did it stipulate 3 hours until I was informed the night before the tour. BNT did not pass on the tour guide contact details to me so I could not plan or ask the guide and inform her in advance of the food requirement for lunch due to medical reasons. As a result we had to remove a few items off the list. We were very grateful that she was able to tweak some of the menu with the restaurant in such short timing. The restaurant we went to was super accomodating and the food was delicious. The highlights of the tour was the Tomb and Imperial city and the tour guide Trinh was absolutely amazing and accommodating. Her knowledge on the history around the Dynasty and Imperial City was absolutely enriching to hear. Heading back to the hotel we were informed that we would take a shorter route which was around the 2.5 hour mark. This ended up being 3 hours and 20 minutes. Overall the actual tour with Trinh in Hue City and the food were fantastic. BNT representatives lack of communication and false advertising resulted this tour down to two stars.

Just having that personalised one on one experience made this very long day trip worth it. Miss Trinh was extremely knowledgeable and had great English. She was SUPBERB! She went out of her way to ensure I had a memorable trip to Hue. Out of all the Viator tours I did this holiday this was by far the best!
