Geniet van de 40 minuten durende drakenboottocht op de Perfume River. Geniet van de beste Hue-keuken in een authentiek restaurant in Hue. Om 07.00 uur haalt onze standaard Engelssprekende chauffeur je op bij je hotel/homestay in Hoi An en brengt je naar Hue. Op weg naar Hue vanuit Hoi An stopt hij bij de Hai Van-pas zodat je prachtige panoramische foto's kunt maken. (Houd er rekening mee dat chauffeurs geen gidsen zijn, hun Engels zeer beperkt is en de attractie-informatie niet kan uitleggen. Bij aankomst in Hue halen we onze lokale gids op die goed geïnformeerd is en uitstekend Engels spreekt om een privétour door de stad Hue te doen) .
Vervolgens stopt onze chauffeur bij de Hai Van-pasvoet, de ideale plek om enkele beroemde en fantastische foto's van het strand van Lang Co te bewonderen en vast te leggen.
Rond 10.00 uur arriveer je in Hue City, we halen onze lokale gids op om de Hue City Private Tour te starten. Eerst nemen we een drakenboot om langs de Perfume River te gaan om de Thien Mu-pagode te verkennen. Het is de meest heilige en mooiste pagode in Vietnam, gebouwd in 1601. Onze lokale gids zal je enkele mythen vertellen over deze heilige pagode en de liefdesvloek.
Daarna zullen we de werkplaats verkennen, de residentie van 13 keizers van de Nguyen-dynastie. We zullen Hue Citadel, Hue Royal City en Hue Forbidden City verkennen. Onze lokale gids vertelt je een aantal interessante verhalen over de keizers, concubines en eunuchen.
We zullen een heerlijke lunch nuttigen in een lokaal restaurant in Hue. We zullen genieten van alle Hue-specialiteiten. Na de lunch zullen we de begrafenis van de 12e keizer van de Nguyen-dynastie - Khai Dinh-tombe verkennen. Khai Dinh Tomb staat bekend als de mooiste en duurste koninklijke graven van de Nguyen-dynastie en ter wereld. Je zult twee keer zeggen "WOW WOW" vanwege zijn schoonheid. We nemen tenslotte afscheid van onze lokale gids, onze chauffeur brengt je terug naar je hotel in Hoi An. Rondleiding eindigt.

Mr. Duc was punctual and accommodating. He gave us minimal information at each stop, but just enough for us to understand and enjoy. Ms. Fi was informative and allowed us time to explore at our pace. She also offered to take photos for us. Lunch was amazing and provided a variety of tastes. I would highly recommend Ms. Fi for any tour!
This experience was the highlight of my stay in Central Vietnam! Both the driver, Mr. Hoa, and guide, Phi, were incredible and had so much knowledge to share. I also very much appreciated how personable and accommodating they were given the heat level, rearranging the order of activities, and also providing water and an umbrella to ensure I was well taken care of. Can’t forget to mention that the included lunch was delicious - I was able to try several dishes, all amazing. This is a tour I will recommend to anyone visiting in the future. I’m excited to return to Hue again and continue learning more about the history and culture of Vietnam.
The city of Hue is amazing, and even though we only got a small taste of it, Ms. Van made such an impression on us that we’re already convinced Hue will be the centerpiece of our next trip to Vietnam. As others have mentioned, this is a LONG day whether you’re departing from Da Nang or Hoi An — but it is absolutely worth it if you have the time. Our trip from Hoi An started at 7:30 a.m. and we returned just before 6:00 p.m., made possible in large part by the fantastic driving skills of Mr. Hao. Driving in Vietnam is truly something to behold and definitely not for the faint of heart, but with Hao behind the wheel we felt completely safe the entire time. He also made the journey genuinely enjoyable with his warm personality and great company. Ms. Van was simply incredible — the perfect blend of knowledge, intelligence, and kindness. Through her storytelling and deep understanding of the history of Vietnam, Hue, and the royal family, she gave us a far richer appreciation not only of the places we visited, but also of the people and culture. Thank you both for an unforgettable day!

Long day but worth it. The Citadel and Forbidden City were beautiful. Our guide, Ms. Vân, was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful lunch proper to returning to Hoi An. Would defined recommend!

This is a long day but well worth it A long drive to Hue but some very scenic roads and had a couple of stops for photos and refreshments. The driver,Mr Hoang was very accommodating and thoughtful. He made the journey seem shorter, and we felt very safe with his standard of driving. Excellent. Once in Hue, we picked up our guide, Ms Trinh - Lotus She is an amazing guide and very professional and friendly and personable. She was very knowledgeable and made the day special. Our guide Tony has made this experience very nice: knowledgable, kind, patient and enthusiastic, he walked us through the highlights of Hue. We would not have understood half of what we saw without him
Although a rainy day, our guide Ms. Ly (Lily) and driver Mr. Luyen, made the most of our day. We were picked up in Da Nang for approx. a 2 hour drive to Hue where we met Ms. Ly. We visited temples, the palace, the Pagoda and took a dragon boat ride on the river. Lunch was at a local restaurant and was a great experience on its own. We could not have asked for a better, more informative guide. Our driver was with us from 9am pickup until dropping us back in Da Nang around 7:30pm....great value for our day.
We had a great day visiting Hue City. Our driver, Mr. Hao, was very engaging on our trip from Hoi An and back again, answering our questions and sharing information about his country. Fi, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and explained, very patiently, the history of the region. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history!
This was a great service. Mr Hau took us from Hoi An to Phong Nha with stops at the Vihn Moc tunnels and the Hue citadel along the way.
