De hoofdstad en grootste stad van Slovenië is een van Europa's groenste en meest leefbare hoofdsteden; het was in 2016 de Groene Hoofdstad van Europa van de Europese Commissie. In het centrum is autoverkeer beperkt, waardoor de lommerrijke oevers van de smaragdgroene rivier de Ljubljanica, die door het hart van de stad stroomt, vrij zijn voor voetgangers en fietsers. In de zomer zetten cafés terrassen op langs de rivier; het voelt bijna als een nachtelijk straatfeest
Het meer van Bled is een van de mooiste plekjes in Slovenië en is vaak het letterlijke affiche voor het toerisme in Slovenië. Sterker nog, het moet ook een kanshebber zijn om een van de mooiste plekken van heel Europa te zijn! Het meer zelf is niet alleen sereen en vredig, maar het heeft niet één maar twee iconische bezienswaardigheden: een eiland in het midden van het meer en een sprookjesachtig kasteel op een heuvel.

Easy and fun from start to finish. Josip picked up our family of 3 at hotel in Zagreb and drove us to beautiful Bled in Slovenia. He told us different options we could do there, let us pick and let us explore on our own while there. When we were ready we then drove to the capital Ljubljana. There he walked us around to a few sites pointing out the buildings and landmarks then gave us some time to explore on our own and grab some food. Then we drove back, about 9hrs all in. Josip was very friendly and professional. Thanks for a great day in Slovenia!
The visit to Lake Bled was wonderful - so was the advice to try Bled Cream Cake Ljubljana was a delight
Josip set us up for a wonderful day trip to Lake Bled and Ljubljana. He contacted us the day before and met us in front of our hotel in his van. He was very informative on the drive and we went to Lake Bled first. Went in to the castle and then walked around the lake at the base. We chose not to take a boat to the island. Quick trip to Ljubljana and Josip took us to the city center and gave us a nice overview of the area and what we were seeing. Gave us a nice recommendation for lunch/snack while we were there. So nice to have an easy day trip and not be concerned with anything! Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Slovenia. Lake Bled Castle is an impressive site and the views are spectacular. We took the boat to the island for the full experience and, while we’re glad we did it, the stay on the island (almost an hour) was much longer than we needed so the whole trip was 1.5 to 2 hours. Ljubljana was fun to visit as well with lots going on since we were there on a Saturday. Josip is an excellent guide and we learned so much about history of the region and interesting facts about to places we visited, etc.
Some snow and rain and that just made it more beautiful. A fairly long ride but absolutely worth it. Josip was charming, very informative, and very professional. The castle was fascinating. Amazing views exhibits and displays. I am so glad we did this. Except lunch, opportunities to walk about on our own. Petfect tour for us.

Our drive to Slovenia went very smoothly and we enjoyed the countryside along the way. Our guide/driver Josip was amazing!! He shared a lot of history and facts and was very easy to talk with which made the drive pleasant and not boring. He expertly catered the order of the itinerary to maximize our time in each location. He helped drive us as close to the highlights as possible due to a bit of reduced mobility. He gave us an approximate time to meet but never rushed us. We saw all the highlights as listed: Bled Castle, Lake Bled, Ljubljana old town with the famous Dragon Bridge and beautiful buildings. He suggested for us to take the funicular up to the Ljubljana Castle for the views. Of course we tried the kremšnita (Famous cream cake from Bled). It was a perfect day with the bonus of perfect weather. Thank you Josip for giving us such a memorable experience!! We highly recommend Get in Transfer to anyone considering this tour!!

First of all, the communication between Jopin and I started before we even got to Zagreb. He answered a few questions I had immediately. He communicated with us before he picked us up at our hotel and arrived exactly at 8.30am to pick us up. He was courteous and informative throughout the entire day and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions about Slovenia and Croatia. He picked us up in a nice comfortable van and had a great recommendation for a restaurant in Lubijiana. It was a wonderful experience to visit Slovenia from Zagreb. This tour made us to explore it easy and without any stress. Lake Bled was so beautiful, enjoyed Bled cream pie there.
