Voordat u de tentoonstelling Home of Carlsberg betreedt, wordt u uitgenodigd voor een geheime rondleiding door de kelder, waarbij de historische bierkelders uit 1847 centraal staan. De tour begint langs de Carlsbergweg met een biertje in de hand, en voert je langs J.C. Jacobsens voormalige villa. Daarna daal je 14 meter ondergronds af. Hier krijg je een zeldzaam inzicht in het beroepsleven van de brouwerijmedewerkers en de cruciale rol die de kelders speelden in de vroege activiteiten van Carlsberg. Na uw rondleiding in de kelder verkent u de tentoonstelling van 3000 m2. Het is gewijd aan de geschiedenis van Carlsberg, van het allereerste brouwsel tot een wereldwijd bedrijf. - Bij aankomst wordt een instaptijd voor de tentoonstelling toegewezen. Op drukke dagen kan wachttijd optreden.

Museum: We think it is a very exciting museum, where information is provided and there were many interactive options that could be saved using the chip on the bracelet. The basement: The guide was good at telling but it was a little disappointing only to see a very very small part of the basement. The trip was only about 1/2 hour. Beer tasting: we had also ordered beer tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave a good popular information about beer and how to taste. There were 3 beers included, each of which got about 1/3 - 1/2 beers. We were lucky that he gave us an extra beer - we were not so many and asked a lot in.
This was a great brewery tour. Was not on our list, but a friend suggested and we are glad we went. This was self guided tour. Included a small welcome beer and a full size glass at the end. I didn’t want to do a beer tasting, which most brewery tours price together. This could be done as an add on. Tour was in the old factory itself and was more about the history and process than other way around, which we liked.

We experienced a historical tour at Carlsberg just the other week. It was a really beautiful and fun trip where we learnt and tasted original beer. Our tour guide Sofie was excellent, would highly recommend booking a tour with her if the chance presents itself!
If you come to Copenhagen, you need to find time to visit the Carlsberg Exhibition & Cellar Tour. This informative tour of Carlsberg gives you adequate insight into what makes & goes into Carlsberg beer. It's like how attending a mass feels different if a person visits the biblical sites (eg the 12 stations of the cross, the Burning Bush, the Sycamore Tree & more) & the masses attended feels different, feels more meaningful thereafter. I hope the Carlsberg stour will continue & hope that the scope of the tour will be enlarged. I will say this. If you visit Copenhagen and did not visit the Carlsberg tour & cellar, you have not visited Copenhagen 😊🙏

Super fun experience. We loved the initial tour. So interactive and informative. And the guided beer tasting was extremely fun. The guide was knowledgeable and hilarious. And the beers were all great.
Money machine - in English (not English). Not a tour, but independent tour. Okay, at the museum. But beer tasting was three pieces in half an hour for a lot of money. Money machine. Not okay.
