Hoi An kookcursus met lokale chef-kok

We had a wonderful evening learning to cook Vietnamese specialties with My. It was just our small group in the class. She was very attentive and explained everything well. We had a nice evening and a wonderful dinner.

We booked this cooking class as we understood that’s one of the things you can do to experience Hoi A culture. The cooking class we got was not similar to the pictures we saw in the review (at all). It was a nice lady who thought / guided us through a menu which was fun, but this was thought out of her home with her family around. She also seemed to have a cold, but eventually out on a mask which we appreciated. We understand that we were the only two people who booked the class that evening, so perhaps some modifications was made with regards to that.

I had an amazing time at this cooking class! The entire experience was not only incredibly informative but also really fun. The instructors were warm, energetic, and great at explaining each step, making it easy to follow along even for beginners. I loved learning about Vietnamese ingredients and cooking techniques, and the dishes we made were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, full of laughter, and made the whole class truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Vietnam—it was one of the highlights of my trip!

Very good time spent during this cooking class. Rigolade while cooking, it was perfect! Our chef made us laugh, we highly recommend!

Very informative, our cooking instructor Ha was very entertaining and made the event one to remember. We also got to eat the fruits of our labour that turned out to be a very enjoyable meal.

My hotel kindly arranged a cookery class at short notice and I had such an enjoyable time. I was driven to and from the venue and received a complimentary bottle of water on arrival. There were 8 in the group and we had our own work stations. All the ingredients were set up for us and we were expertly guided through each stage of the cooking process. I highly recommend doing this activity with Cam Thanh Family Tours.

Instructor One is very interesting, telling the program very carefully and will also help, the group and another Danish family cooking together is really a lot of fun, and it is a great family event for young people to participate together.

We had such a lovely time at Mai’s cooking class in Hoi An. I wasn’t feeling well on our original booking date, and Mai was incredibly kind and flexible in allowing us to reschedule – something we were so grateful for. The class itself is set in a delightful and peaceful location, in Mai's home, which added to the charm of the whole experience. Mai is a fantastic teacher – kind, patient, and genuinely funny. She guided us through each step with warmth and encouragement, helping us cook up an absolute feast! It was not only delicious but such fun too – one of the real highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!
