Hoi An Eco Tourism Company is een lokale Eco-Tour-operatie gerund door onze rijstboerenfamilie in Cam Thanh Village, Hoi An. We hebben hier generaties gewoond en gewerkt en zijn er echt dol op. We willen je een ander soort ervaring aanbieden, om je het authentieke en unieke dagelijkse leven van de lokale vissers- en landbouwgemeenschappen van dit dorp te laten zien. Doe mee en je krijgt de kans om deel te nemen aan praktische activiteiten en lokale praktijken die leuk, veilig en interessant zijn voor mensen van alle leeftijden. Je zult een echte band hebben met sommige lokale mensen, hun cultuur, het landschap, het eten en de omgeving, je helpen meer te begrijpen over de Vietnamese landelijke cultuur en je reiservaring verrijken. We willen dat je het gevoel hebt dat je hier echt een korte tijd woont. De typische rust en vrede van het plattelandsleven neemt je ver weg van de drukte van het stadsleven, en je kunt genieten van het dagelijkse leven net als een native. Tour loopt minimaal 2 personen

Vanmorgen breng je je dag door in een Farming & Fishing Life Tour die je een close-up en intieme blootstelling biedt aan zowel de lokale landbouw- als visgemeenschappen. Begeleid door je gids, begin je de dag langzaam langs landwegen en ervaar je het lokale Vietnamese plattelandsleven uit de eerste hand en waar je veel fotomomenten hebt. Daarna bezoek je een prachtig biologisch groentedorp, waar je helpt met het water geven en planten van groente, het schoffelen van de grond met een lokale boer en het zien van een waterbuffel in een rijstveld. De fotomogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. Later gaat u aan boord van onze ecotoerboot voor een riviercruise om lokale vissers te ontmoeten en te ontmoeten en te genieten van een praktische ervaring van traditionele netvissen. U zult ook ervaren peddelen de unieke Vietnamese bamboe mand boot langs de waterwegen van kokospalm paradijs. Deze tour biedt u een cultureel venster op de manier van leven van zowel Vietnamese landbouw- als vissersgemeenschappen. Wanneer de tour is voltooid, wordt u teruggebracht naar het hotel waar u vrije tijd heeft.

Hoang took us on an excellent tour of farming and fishing. We went to the vegetable farm and were shown how different vegetables grow. Also a very different way of watering! Then the fishing village trip which was very interesting, learning the different ways they fish in Hoi An. We went to Hoang's house and learned how to make Vietnamese pancakes. The lunch was delicious and Hoang was a great guide. Would recommend.

A really enjoyable tour to see and learn about farming & fishing in Hoi An. Hoang was lovely, explaining Vietnamese life to us. He also accommodated my husbands sore knee by taking him on the back of his motorbike. Loved the chance to try making the pancake and the lunch provided was delicious. A great day! Fantastic local tour - a variety of activities including farming, fishing, cycling, banana boat rides, cooking demonstrations and a lunch at the owner’s house. Well paced, fantastic food and no pushing shopping etc.. Well done!!

Mr Hoang was a kind, thoughtful, and flexible guide who provided us with a collection of experiences from the playful to the educational. We opted to use our homestay’s provided bikes, and he guided us from there to a number of sites around his village and the surrounding rice paddies. Riding in a basket boat and sitting on a water buffalo were fun, but I particularly enjoyed our host’s clear and charming explanation and demonstration of rice farming and production, especially hulling and polishing rice using the same hand tools his parents used. The meal that concluded our brief cooking class was delicious (and felt well earned after our cycling and water buffalo-sitting). After lunch, our host led us safely back home.

I went on the tour with my 8 year old son. We had a great day! I was driving a bike with my son seated behind me while Mr. Hong was driving motorbike very slowly and guiding our private tour. Mr. Hong was really nice and gave us good information along the way. After a good day program we drove to he's home, where we were served a delicious home cooked meal. Thisbwas one of the best things we did in Hoi An and recommend it highly! :)) Thanks again Mr. Hong & family!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Hoi An Eco Tourism! The tour was well-organised, and every moment was enjoyable. Hoang was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about showcasing the beauty and culture of Hoi A farming and fishing. From the bike riding to the hands-on activities like traditional fishing and coconut boat rowing, every part of the tour felt authentic and immersive. It was amazing to learn about rice farming and to have an amazing cooking lesson Hoang’s home. This is a must-do for anyone visiting Hoi An! Highly recommend!

Our family had an incredible experience on the biking and fishing tour with Mr. Hoang in Hoi An. Traveling with our 4- and 7-year-old, we were amazed at how engaging and well-paced the entire tour was. We started by biking from our villa through the stunning rice fields, soaking in the beautiful countryside. Mr. Hoang’s warmth and knowledge made every stop fascinating. We learned how to cast fishing nets and even fished for crabs, which was a huge hit with our kids! One of the highlights was learning about the traditional rice-making process — interactive and fun for all ages. The tour wrapped up with a delicious, home-cooked meal at Mr. Hoang’s house, making us feel like part of his family. This experience was the perfect mix of adventure, education, and authentic local culture. We highly recommend it to any family visiting Hoi An!
