Everything went well 20min into the tour we set back into port, server on board said something went wrong but that when we arrived we could stay on till 6pm, but it was to run till 7pm, we did not get compensation or even an extra drink, it all seemed like a scam maybe better yo pay for tour that includes a dinner, one thing was off all the crew seemed confused as to why we were kicked off

We paid over AUD $100 for the Ho Chi Minh City Icon Saigon Luxury Dinner Cruise, expecting the romantic evening advertised, complete with live music, a relaxing atmosphere, and a luxury dining experience. Instead, after boarding and setting sail, we were informed there was a private party being held in a shared area of the boat. The atmosphere was completely different from what had been advertised. Loud music from the private party competed with separate music being played for the rest of the passengers, making it almost impossible to have a conversation. The private event featured men watching performances by scantily clad dancers, which was not at all the romantic ambience we had booked or expected. Members of the private party were also constantly walking around the boat filming, and there were repeated wolf whistles from the group, making the experience even more uncomfortable. We were seated at the back of the boat, received no live entertainment whatsoever, and our meals were served from large insulated coolers (eskies), which certainly didn't reflect the "luxury dinner cruise" we had paid for. Unfortunately, after returning to our hotel that evening, a few members of our group developed upset stomachs. While we can't say with certainty what caused it, it added to what was already a very disappointing experience. Had the listing disclosed that a private function would be taking place alongside other paying guests, we would never have booked this cruise. Once the boat had departed, we had no option to leave and simply had to endure the remainder of the evening. This experience bore little resemblance to the description on Viator. If private events are going to dominate the cruise, this should be clearly disclosed before booking so guests can make an informed decision. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this cruise.

Highly recommend, we went for the VIP option which was great, beautiful food and service. Drinks where also a good price

Beautiful boat and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It makes for an enjoyable evening.

The boat is a world-class vessel - smooth sailing, great exterior & interior design. Staff was top notch and the F&B was amazing. The sunset cruise was an an alsolute delight. We’ll be back another time for the dinner cruise.
