I had one of my most exciting travel experiences visiting Ethiopia, but the icing on the cake was Lalibela. The flight to Lalibela stopping over at Gonda added more value. As a civil engineer, in those churches, I saw a confluence of architecture, sculpture, engineering, and geology. My experience with the tour company Walk-In-Ethiopia makes me want to do this again.
