High-end Peruaanse kookles, Pisco Sour & San Pedro Market

Great way to get to know the culture of a place. The market visit was fun and exciting and we saw and learnt about so many new things. The cooking session was brilliant - truly hands on - we actually did our own cooking - and Christian was the perfect guide and story teller…. Great way to get to know a country….

Honestly, I think it is not emphasized enough that the accompaniment is provided by a chef who trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Australia and who has his own restaurant in Lima! Not only does he know what he is talking about, but he has plenty of very nice anecdotes! Thanks again

I would highly recommend this cooking class for families. Christian was so kind and knowledgeable. The food was really fresh and delicious. The space was lovely. A highlight in our trip so far!

We had such a great time with Chris! He gave us a great tour through the San Pedro market and answered all of our questions! He shared lots of knowledge about the local fruits/potatoes/cheeses and chocolates throughout our tour that were great to learn about. We then went back to the venue for the cooking class that was super cute and very clean! (definitely come hungry!) Chris keeps the groups small so max of 6-8, but we had a group of just 2! Everything ran so smoothly--we did the lunch option so we made a pisco sour (maracuya!!), ceviche, quinoa risotto and a DELICIOUS multi-fruit dessert! I really feel like we got to experience local cuisine in a really unique way. We ate together and chatted about our experiences and Chris asked about our trip and gave recommendations. He shared lots of information about the foods we were cooking and the recipes! Truly a wonderful experience and I'm so glad we had the opportunity! Highly recommend!! Thank you!!

Chris is an amazing chef. I had a great experience and had my best meal in Cusco. Chris is very knowledgeable and friendly. His English is perfect. Highly recommend!!

We loved our cooking class with Chris! He provided a wonderful, in depth experience, beginning in the local market. Chris explained the origins of many of the ingredients we used in our dishes, which we loved! The location of the class is in a beautiful historic building which fully enhanced our experience. The meal itself is delicious, and full of local ingredients. Chris does a great job of explaining how to prepare the dish, as well as why we are using certain ingredients and techniques. I could not recommend it enough!! Thank you for the wonderful time and delicious meal!

We had a wonderful, instructive and fun afternoon with Christian! I recommend to everyone (couples, families and people traveling alone) to have the best experience knowing the San Pedro market and deepening into Peruvian culture through local food and beverages.

This was everything we hoped for and more. Guide was friendly and a very skilled chef. Food was delicious. Perfect balance of doing a lot of the cooking ourselves but also the guide leading the way. Highly reccomend and well worth the price.

Great fun! Hilarious time at the market, followed by a wonderful evening of cooking and eating. Went way longer than anticipated (which was great). Learned a lot, laughed a lot. We've done a number of these sorts of cooking adventures and this was probably the most fun.
