We had an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience with Mr. Yuki as our travel guide during our Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi tour. I can honestly say that he was one of the best guides we have ever had during our travels. From the very beginning, Mr. Yuki was professional, punctual, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. He was available on WhatsApp before the tour, answered clearly, and gave us confidence that everything was well arranged. On the day of the tour, he picked us up from our hotel exactly on time at 9:00 AM. His car was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. What made the experience truly special was not only the sightseeing, but the way Mr. Yuki treated us. We were travelling as a family with my wife and our three children — two sons and one daughter — and he was extremely kind, patient, and caring with the kids. He made them feel comfortable, involved, and happy throughout the day. He treated me and my wife with great respect and warmth, almost like family rather than just customers. That human touch made a huge difference. His English was excellent, and he explained every place very clearly without making it boring or too complicated. He was lively, energetic, cheerful, and very courteous throughout the tour. He had the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Our itinerary was excellent. We visited a beautiful view spot of Lake Kawaguchi, then Kawaguchi Asama Shrine, followed by the White Waterfall, a scenic view spot of Lake Sai, and then explored the amazing Jukai Forest. We also saw a lava cave area with a shrine, which was a very unique and memorable experience. Mr. Yuki explained the background and importance of the places very nicely, so it felt much more meaningful than simply going from one tourist spot to another. For lunch, he took us to a local udon restaurant called Tamakitei, where our family enjoyed shrimp udon. It was a simple, authentic, and delicious local food experience, and Mr. Yuki helped make the stop smooth and easy for us. As a Muslim family, our shrimp udon order worked well for us, and we appreciated that he was understanding and flexible with our needs. One of the best things about Mr. Yuki was his flexibility. During the tour, we requested a change of plan and asked to visit the 5th Station of Mount Fuji. He adjusted the itinerary smoothly and happily took us there without any issue. This showed his excellent attitude and his genuine desire to make the day special for us. We still returned around 3:30 PM, which was perfect timing. By the end of the tour, Mr. Yuki did not feel like just a guide. He felt like a kind local friend showing us his beautiful region with pride and care. For families, especially those travelling with children, this kind of guide is extremely valuable. He was safe, patient, knowledgeable, flexible, and very respectful. As a family visiting from the UAE, we truly appreciated his hospitality, warmth, excellent English, safe driving, clear explanations, and caring attitude toward our children. He gave us a beautiful memory of the Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi area that we will always remember. I would 100% recommend Mr. Yuki to families, couples, solo travellers, and groups of friends. If you want a guide who is professional but also kind, human, flexible, and genuinely caring, Mr. Yuki is the perfect choice. If you are planning a trip to Mt. Fuji (especially if it's your first time), I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND booking this private tour with Yuki! From the very beginning, organizing everything was incredibly simple because he is so easy to talk to and stays in touch via WhatsApp, which made discussing our plans super convenient. In the days leading up to our tour, Yuki even went out of his way to continuously check weather forecasts to make sure we actually got to see the majestic Mt. Fuji. Thanks to him, my girlfriend and I got to Fuji-san in all her glory, up close and personal. He was even happy to adjust his itinerary so we could visit a few extra spots we were interested in, so don't be afraid to tell him if there's anywhere in the Kawaguchiko area you'd like to go! The private tour itself was easily the highlight of our trip. Yuki’s ride was super comfortable, and he is an excellent guide who speaks great English and shares wonderful insights and knowledge throughout the trip from the eyes of a true local. He took us to several "secret" spots around Kawaguchiko that were breathtakingly beautiful and with less tourists, making the whole day feel like a magical experience designed just for us. He was incredibly patient, warm, and accommodating, even acting as our personal photographer and videographer throughout the day so we could just focus on enjoying the moment. The absolute best part, however, was how Yuki helped me plan a surprise proposal to my now-fiancée. He found us the most intimate, quiet spot with a perfect view of Mt. Fuji and even discreetly recorded the whole thing for us. Yuki, thank you so much for making that moment truly special and for being such a huge part of our story.
