Geniet van een rustige luchtballonvaart voor het majestueuze Atlasgebergte met extra ruimte, comfort en minder mensen aan boord: Je ochtend begint met een pick-up. Bij aankomst op de lanceerbasis geniet u van koffie, thee en verse croissants terwijl uw ballon wordt klaargemaakt. Zweef de lucht in en zie een panoramisch uitzicht op de woestijn, Berberdorpen en bergtoppen die gloeien in de ochtendzon. Na de landing verzamelt u zich in een traditionele Berber-tent voor een authentiek ontbijt en ontvangt u een vluchtcertificaat om de ervaring te markeren. Deze semi-privévlucht is perfect voor reizigers die rust, comfort en een exclusievere ballonvaartervaring waarderen. Wij maken er een onvergetelijke ervaring van! Geniet van uitzicht vanuit vogelperspectief op de Marokkaanse woestijnen en de uitlopers van het Atlasgebergte tijdens een heteluchtballonvaart bij zonsopgang vanuit Marrakech. Rijd in de vroege ochtend naar de lanceerplek en zweef door de ochtendlucht over de woestijnvalleien en heuvels. Land daarna veilig terug op de grond om te genieten van een smakelijk Berber ontbijt. Een vliegcertificaat om uw ballonvaart te herdenken is ook inbegrepen.
Sta vroeg op en verlaat je Marrakech hotel met je Gids. Ontspan in het voertuig met airconditioning terwijl u op tijd naar de lanceerbasis reist voor uw ballonvaart. Bij aankomst stimuleer je je energie met gebak, thee en koffie en kijk je toe hoe je ervaren bemanning je ballon klaarmaakt. Klim in de ruime mand voor het opstijgen. en er is voldoende ruimte voor u om comfortabel te zien terwijl u vliegt. Span je op terwijl je ballon de lucht in stijgt en bewonder het luchtfoto's van de woestijn terwijl je door de lucht zweeft. Maak foto's van de rotsachtige valleien en pieken terwijl je piloot je ballon over de uitlopers van het Atlasgebergte stuurt. Neem plaats in een tent met uitzicht op de bergen en geniet van een heerlijk ontbijt met Berberse hoofdgerechten zoals maïsbrood, pannenkoeken, olijven, vers fruit en muntthee. Na het ontbijt genoten te hebben. Ontvang een vluchtcertificaat ter herdenking van uw ballonvaart en keer terug naar uw hotel in Marrakech om uw reis te beëindigen.

U ontvangt een dag voor de excursie rond 18:00 uur een WhatsApp bericht met uw exacte ophaaltijd en locatie. ❗️ Zorg ervoor dat je telefoonnummer is verbonden met WhatsApp en controleer je berichten. Als u voor 20:00 uur geen bericht heeft ontvangen, neem dan rechtstreeks contact op met de piloot : + 212 652 129721 of commercieel manager : + 212 649 - 349139 (Whatsapp) ❗️ Zorg ervoor dat uw telefoon internet of Wi-Fi heeft bij het ophalen, zodat ons team u gemakkelijk kan bereiken. Als je een alternatief WhatsApp nummer hebt, deel dit dan 24 uur voor de excursie met ons. Chauffeurs kunnen slechts 5 minuten wachten op uw ophaalplek. Daarna moeten ze vertrekken om de andere klanten op te halen om vertraging van het programma te voorkomen. This was a wonderful experience in the air with other people. We booked a semi-private flight which is up to 15 passengers plus the pilot. The basket is fairly large so there's room for everyone. The basket is divided into 4 quarters with the pilot in the middle. There was a bit of difficulty getting into the basket as you have to use 2 footholds carved into sides of the basket. We're not very nimble any longer but we got help to get in and out. The flight was smooth and serene. A sunrise flight is probably best even though we left the ground around 8am and the sun was already up. We got some refreshment before and a good Berber breakfast after the flight. The organization 'Marrakesh by Air' is professional with lots of ground crew. They are missing out on some money making timing. I would have bought a t-shirt for sure but there was nothing to buy. Awesome experience... Hospitality and transpo were great. Balloon was incredible. A little hard on old knees for take off and landing position.. Didn't feel crowded.
At sunrise, it was magnificent! A lot of people even though the announcement said semi-private. The atmosphere was still very pleasant
The balloon ride itself is very good; great views, tranquil and our pilot was very informative and knowledgeable. Inside the balloon you will be in one of four sections allocated for passengers with the pilot in their own middle section. I would suggest that each section holds no more than 4 adults comfortably. Safety was very clearly the most important thing for the organisers with impressive ground support teams making it all run smoothly. BUT....and it is a big BUT....you should be aware of how the trips are run. Firstly, if you have a 6:30am trip you will NOT see the sunrise....you will be on a later flight with sun already up. You need to be selecting a pick up as early as 4:30am for a sunrise flight. Second, there are a lot of offers for the balloon trips and these all seem to be from operators who run people from Marrakech to the balloon site. They seem to charge different fees and our 'semi private' excursion just meant a pick up in a smaller 4x4 rather than the usual minibus. Third, be aware that on arrival at the site there will already be a lot of other tourists also waiting for their balloon ride. There are many balloons and although it is all well organised you are very much another traveller on the production line waiting your turn. This is fine IF it is all explained and you are kept informed of the process. We weren't and it was a bit confusing and concerning at times. At one point we were instructed to get back into the 4x4 to head to a balloon but then had to get back out to make up the numbers on a different balloon without being advised what was going on...we just had to work it out and go with the flow of not knowing. Such a simple thing for the organisers to fix....just talk to the passengers and keep them informed....we don't bite! Lastly, you are met at the start with a fresh croissant and drink. After the ride there is a 'Berber breakfast' a lot of bread, cold hard boiled egg and some olives. Okay although it is all left in the open waiting for the next batch of passengers to arrive so it is exposed to flies and the heat.

A very nice experience. Despite the terrible weather, everything went safely and well. The driver went out of his way to drive us through the mud. And Captain Noor was a wonderful, sweet airwoman. We had a great time.
Terrible do not waste your time. Picked up 5.30am, waited around till 9am only for the ride to be cancelled. Lots of other companies had balloons in the air but Marrakech by air were very disorganised, poor communication and awful service.

However, we would like to clarify an important point: the cancellation of your flight was strictly due to safety considerations, not organization or service quality. Hot air ballooning is entirely dependent on weather conditions, and safety decisions are made by our experienced pilots on-site. If conditions are not deemed safe, we will always cancel the flight—regardless of whether other operators choose to proceed. We do not take risks when it comes to our passengers’ safety. While it may have appeared that some balloons were flying, only a very limited number of operators were able to take off under specific conditions. Each company operates under its own safety standards, and ours are deliberately strict. We understand how disappointing this situation is, especially after an early start, and we did inform all guests as soon as the final safety decision was made. However, describing this as disorganization is not an accurate reflection of what happened. Your safety is, and will always remain, our top priority.
Highly recommemd this tour. Very well organised. Great communication regarding pick up. Kids loved it. The trip was an adventure from beginning to end. Heading out in the dark with a pre-balloon ride coffee and croissant around the campfire in the dark was very exciting. Next was the balloon ride itself which was incredible, so beautiful to see all the balloons rising up in the sky as the sun came up. Our pilot Layla was very funny. After the ride we had a traditonal breakfast in a Berber tent. Such a spread! Great value for money. Would love to do it all again.
A fantastic experience on time in the pickup and good communication by wassapp breakfasts are for all tours at once but have it very well organized the balloon flight very enjoyable
