De Vikingplaneet is 's werelds eerste digitale Vikingmuseum en biedt een brede selectie unieke en boeiende tentoonstellingen die zijn gecentreerd rond het Vikingtijdperk, zodat u het leven van de Vikingen kunt ervaren alsof u een van hen bent. Klim aan boord van een longship, verdedig je dorp en voel de sensatie van virtueel tijdreizen. Kom oog in oog te staan met levensgrote hologrammen, verken interactieve 3D-artefacten en ontdek enkele van de belangrijkste aspecten van het Vikingtijdperk via boeiende interactieve schermen. Very bad experience . When we arrived they told us that the second floor is closed . We should have been notified of this prior to purchasing the tickets !!! This is totally unacceptable and I personally don’t appreciate such negative treatment !
I don't really understand you comment here - maybe you have been to another museum ? We don't have a second floor. The museum store is on the ground floor and is of course open for everyone (even if you don't have a ticket) and the experiences are in the basement.
The museum was very spacious with many different attractions. Including an AI photo machine & a VR system. The gift shop was very nice also with many different items to choose from. The staff were also very kind & welcoming and it was overall a good experience.

The Viking Planet was so much fun. It was very interesting and had lots of Viking information. The virtual reality was also awesome. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend visiting

There were many activities to plsy with. However, the content was limited. Once we understand it from one activity, the the contect was repeated in a different activity. The VR was not excited as expected.

Viking Planet was very cool. We started out playing the VR game that has one protecting his ship through 3 levels. The Vr was pretty cool and very simple to use. It did get a little warm under the mask, though. The gameplay was fun. You start out with a bow and shoot your enemies attacking from shore. But, if an enemy climbs onto the boat, it's a sword battle. It was a lot of fun. The rest of the museum is full of interactive and informative information on the lives and tools/weapons used by the vikings. There is a VR adventure with a 4D experience (the seat moves) of being on a ship adventure. And yes, the technology is somewhat dated, the experience was still fun. I am definitely returning when I come back to Oslo.

Great welcome and feel as we walked around at our leisure. The interactive stations were very well thought out and the cinema screens were immersive and visually appealing. The VR experience at the end was fantastic! We loved every moment of our visit.

The best Museum of Oslo, interactive, informative and fun. We all loved it. There are different offers according to the number of people. There are explanations and videos, games and history.
