Er is zoveel schoonheid op het Kaapse Schiereiland en bij elk bezoek aan Kaapstad hoort ook een dag de prachtige kustlijn te verkennen. Wij zijn inwoners van Kaapstad met liefde voor de natuurlijke omgeving en we proberen dit element op te nemen in onze tours! Als u een wandeling wilt opnemen in plaats van enige tijd door te brengen op andere locaties zoals Kalk Bay en Simon's Town, boek dan onze andere tour "Cape Point Nature Tour & Hike (Private)" - Wij zijn locals die zijn opgegroeid op het Kaapse Schiereiland - We zijn flexibel op de dag en kunnen de tour aanpassen aan uw interesses - Je komt in een paar rustigere hoeken, hoewel je nog steeds de hoogtepunten van het Kaapse schiereiland ervaart - Onze kennis van de natuurlijke omgeving voegt een grote waarde toe aan uw ervaring

Afhankelijk van het weer en de tijd van het jaar kunnen we gewoon door Kalk Bay rijden zonder te stoppen, of soms stoppen in een café voor een kopje koffie in de ochtend of een afhaalmaaltijd Fish & Chips nemen voor de lunch in de haven.
We rijden door Simon's Town om de Boulders Beach Penguin Colony te bezoeken, hoewel we op sommige dagen misschien Jubilee Square en het Just Hinderance-beeld bezoeken op dagen dat we lunchen in een Simon's Town-restaurant.
We bezoeken de belangrijkste Boulders Beach Penguin Colony uitkijkplatforms in het Table Mountain National Park, waar een paar duizend Afrikaanse pinguïns naar huis bellen. Een wandeling langs Willis Walk naar het belangrijkste zwemstrand is iets wat je zult doen en in de zomer is een duik hier geweldig!
We rijden het gedeelte Kaap de Goede Hoop van het Nationaal Park Tafelberg in, op weg naar Kaappunt waar de vuurtorens zich bevinden. We lopen naar de locaties van het uitzicht en gaan dan mogelijk langs de vuurtorenwachtersroute om een andere invalshoek te krijgen als je zin hebt in een wandeling. Als we niet naar de vuurtorens lopen, kunnen we over het strand van Diaz lopen en dan zullen we doorgaan naar de Kaap de Goede Hoop (45min) op hetzelfde moment dat we rondrijden om je op te halen bij het eindpunt.
Hoewel we Kaap de Goede Hoop 'goed' zullen aanraken terwijl we in de omgeving van Kaapstad zijn, rijden we naar een paar verschillende locaties in de Kaap de Goede Hoop sectie van het Nationaal Park Tafelberg. We zullen uitkijken voor grotere dieren in het wild hier, zoals Bontebok, Eland, Chacma Bavianen en Struisvogels onder anderen.
Deze weg is een klassieker! Meestal varen we over Chapman's Peak Drive op de terugweg naar Kaapstad na een dag op het Kaapse Schiereiland, waar het uitzicht over Noordhoek Beach en Hout Bay adembenemend is!

Mark has a wealth of knowledge and is a world-renowned conservationist; if I had more time, I would have done as many tours with him as possible! I cannot recommend this tour enough.
Very good experience. Got to see the penguins, which was nice. A lot of time on the Cape guide was very knowledgeable about plants and animals in the area which added a nice dimension.

I loved to walk with Mark, one of the owners of this special family business. We hiked the Lion’s Head early in the morning and he knows everything about hike and nature. We walked all around the mountain and saw all the views of Cape Town, during the hike. It’s was so amazing and lovely. Everybody has to hike this mountain. Mark took us to see the penguins and then for a walk along the shipwreck trail. The penguins are a must. The beach walk is beautiful and was totally deserted other than lots of interesting birds. Mark is a top class guide having worked in conservation and national parks for many years. He is also excellent company. Thoroughly recommended.

I found Mark online, read reviews and reached out to him. This family run business helped me put together the itinerary of peninsula tour and Lion's Head hike. Mark has years of experience in this field, and made our peninsula tour very successful. we were very impressed. Mark's wife Lindsay is kind and prompt in responding any communications. We also had their son Justin guiding us to Lion's Head Hike. Justin has a passion to nature and he explained things to us like 'detail oriented'. Mark is a great tour guide! It's so wonderful to have a private guide who's flexible and who notes what your passions are so they can customize your day. That's exactly how it was with Mark! We were on track to do all the standard Cape Peninsula activities until he recognized our sense of adventure and desire to avoid crowds. It was a nice, comfortable tour that allowed us to view all the beautiful highlights of the Cape Peninsula!
Did two day tours with Mark - no trekking as fitness not up to it at the moment! Had a lovely time, it's wonderful to be taken around beautiful Cape Town with a local who is passionate about their city. We covered so much including all the must sees! However as a marine biologist it was also great to be with a fellow conservationist who could tell me all about all the flora and fauna and not just the usual bog standard tour blurb (he did cover all that too though if that's what you want!) And as a solo traveller it's brilliant to find someone willing to take you on a private, custom made tour at a reasonable price. Thanks to Mark for putting up with me and to Lindsay for organising everything.
