Tanah Lot Tempel betekent "Land [in de] Zee" in de Balinese taal. De tempel ligt op een grote offshore rots die door de jaren heen continu is gevormd door het oceaantij. Het werd gebouwd en maakt al eeuwen deel uit van de Balinese mythologie.
Jatiluwih dorp heeft rijstvelden die de contouren van terrasvormige land volgen tegen de achtergrond van betoverende Mount Batukaru en Mount Agung. Het is een deel van het cultureel erfgoed van de wereld UNESCO, zeker een lust voor het oog.
Ulun Danu Beratan Tempel ligt aan de westelijke oevers van het Beratanmeer op een hoogte van 1239 m. Het nabijgelegen meer werd bijna 30.000 jaar geleden gevormd door een enorme vulkaanuitbarsting, waardoor het een historisch meesterwerk is. Deze tempel is een van de meest pittoreske en meest gefotografeerde tempels op Bali.

It was a good experience. Our driver Putu was very friendly and polite. Tanah Lot and Ulun Danu Bratan were scenic and beautiful. The place we had lunch was also good, the food was delicious and there was a lot of variety. The coffee plantation we stopped at was also a lot of fun. Overall it was a good trip. However there is a lot of driving involved so be ready for that.
Our private tour of North Bali was a very good experience. Keep in mind that if you really want to see all attractions on the list, you will have to leave very early in the morning, return quite late in the evening and spend most of your day in the car. It is a matter of distances and to some extent traffic. I would suggest customizing the itinerary to your schedule, available time (back for dinner?) and expectations. In our case, removing a couple of stops from the list was not a problem as we had been to Bali before. Our driver and guide Dewa turned out to be very informative, pleasant and flexible. He spoke good, clear English, drove safely and maintained good communication lines with us on WhatsApp before the tour. His car was clean and comfy. Overall, I would highly recommend both the tour and Dewa specifically.

Nanga my guide was very informative & an excellent driver. There was no rush, I had a very relaxing & down to earth view of Bali. We visited temples. I especially enjoyed Ulum Dani Buaton Lake Temple for its Beauty, gardens & setting. We visited other lakes which surprised me. The Jatiluwilh Rice Fields was noticeably a place you could have wondered around all afternoon. The drive thru the villages was what I always thought Bali would have looked like & I was not disappointed.
This was a great way to see north Bali. Alex my guide was very good and explained a number of different things we saw on the way to the sites. I was based in Ubud and it was a bit over two to get to the first site, a fantastic view back onto the lake and the rest of the sites were a relatively short distance from here. A buffet lunch is also included and the restaurant is very close to Ulun Danu Beratan temple (which I visited before lunch). The Leke Leke waterfalls are very nice and you can swim there if you like, just beware it is a longish walk down from the car park are an and it is steep in areas
Our driver was Alex who was a nice guy.. he seemed confused about what we had paid for and the things that were included in our booking but we soon sorted that out. Tour was 8.5 hours all up.. overall distance not great but traffic makes slow going. The Ulun and Tanah temples were wonderful as we the rice terraces. Overall a good day

The tour was absolutely incredible. Our driver/guide was very good, although, because of rain and traffic, we did not visit all of our planned sites. That was our choice because we wanted to get back to our ship to see the local Bali Devon Show which was excellent. We had a very good time on this tour in spite of the rain. It was, after all, the rainy season in Bali and we got to experience it!
