Frank was an excellent tour guide. Very informative and relaxing. He translated to me in English after explaining to the group in Spanish. It is a busy day trip as you see several places with a lot of Inka culture. Really enjoyed my experience.
As an only English speaking American— do not be surprised if you are the only one or just a couple in a group of about 15. I was the only one but Julio did not rely on my Spanish speaking husband to translate for me. He made sure to do a special translation for me at each location. We went to 3 ruins, a salt mine and a couple stops to learn and (if we want) shop for local textiles. We had a lunch at a buffet where obviously all the tours stop at but there lots of food options and even desserts. There are bathrooms at nearly all the stops. Things to Be aware — the “hotel pickup” was someone who worked at this tour company coming to get you at your hotel but we still walked a few blocks before actually arriving at the tour bus. it was a full bus! — the hotel drop off at the end was near the Plaza De Armas —Do not be afraid to speak up and ask for AC/ fan to be turned on because after a few stops the bus did get uncomfortable for me and we were starting to sweat with all the walking/ climbing. — some parts of the bus rides are very long and very bumpy! Especially the last ruins at sunset. We were nearly not able to go in but our tour guide (with the help of another) was able to talk them into letting us in for a few minutes.
The tour guide was wonderful. I was the only non Speaking Spanish person and she spent a lot of individual time with me. Amazing sites and history of the Inca and pre Inca cultures. Good demonstrations of weaving and dying, salt mining and silver smithing. Nice buffet lunch.
This tour felt rushed! It wasn't in the description that there would be a lot of walking up the stairs and back on a couple locations. The tour guide did a lot of talking that we couldn't even stop much for a photo op. He didn't give us time to take pictures. He'll do a history then on to the next stop. We also felt that non-Spanish speakers be put in a separate tour with English speakers only so that the guide doesn't have to take too much time in translating. He didn't even say anything to a fellow tourist who was rude and was talking loudly on the shuttle bus.
It's a great way to see a lot in one day - we were impressed by the archaeological sites, everything was included when it comes to entrances. Our guide was a bit rushed to best the crowds, but other than that the trip was great.
Great tour for those with limited time. Was a full activity packed day covering the key sites in the valley. Guide was knowledgable and kept use busy and entertained. Recommended.
It was very complete. A lot was packed in to this tour but there was sufficient time to appreciate the sites. Our tour guide Mike was knowledgeable and helpful. It was strenuous at times
The guide was fantastic, she was able to give us a wonderful history to the Inca and coral civilizations that primarily developed great agricultural products. Namely the corn and the potato. We saw a variety of very important archaeological areas that help protect certain aspects of the Inca empire. I would highly recommend this tour.
We had a great tour - very comprehensive-visited a lot of places. The tour was very responsive to our chat via Viator app. Our tour guide was Raul. He did an excellent job of taking us around, very knowledgeable, keeping the group together so we were all on schedule, pleasant, helped with the pics... And, some free samples along the ways....
As a solo traveler this was the cheapest tour to see all of the Sacred Valley as other operators quoted me almost $60 more You really do see everything and it was a fantastic lunch. The company is great and arrived to pick me up in time and even worked with me to get me to the airport on time. Excellent communication. And the tour guide was wonderful, knowledgeable and so nice. . My only criticism is that the tour guide had to do interpretation for both Spanish and English guests. It mightve been easier if it was an English guide for English speakers and a Spanish guide for Spanish speakers. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that this was a great tour.
We are very grateful for your valuable opinion about our service. The entire Eco Path trek team is very happy to have done the tour with us.
