Na een goed en heerlijk ontbijt in het hotel, halen we je om 07:00 uur op en rijden we ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten naar het noordwesten van de stad Cusco over een verharde weg, door de steden Poroy en Chinchero. de stad Maras.
Onze eerste stop is 7 kilometer van de stad Maras, waar het archeologische centrum van Moray is gevestigd, dat door de Inca's werd gebruikt als landbouwlaboratorium om verschillende soorten microklimaten aan te passen.
Nadat we Moray hebben leren kennen, gaan we naar de zoutmijnen van de stad Maras, waarvan de meest opvallende attractie de zoutbronnen van minerale oorsprong zijn, de meer dan 3000 putten worden door de gemeenschap bewerkt en het zout is een van de meest begeerde en exotische producten in de populairste restaurants ter wereld.
Na ons bezoek aan Maras en Moray gaan we naar het hart van de heilige vallei van de Inca's "Urubamba" waar ons heerlijke lunchbuffet op ons wacht in een van de beste restaurants in de omgeving.
Na het nuttigen van onze lunch vervolgen we onze weg naar de Inca-stad genaamd Ollantaytambo, deze plek is de enige die nog steeds het oorspronkelijke stadsontwerp uit de tijd van de Inca's heeft behouden, we bezoeken het raadselachtige archeologische centrum en we zullen ook in staat zijn om in contact te komen met de lokale cultuur. Onze gids legt het belang uit van dit belangrijke militaire, religieuze en politieke centrum tijdens het Inca-tijdperk.
Na een bezoek aan de stad Ollantaytambo gaan we naar het archeologische centrum van Pisaq, een zeer populaire plek vanwege de traditionele essentie en diepgewortelde kunst. Pisaq Het komt uit Quechua, van Pisaq'a, een woord dat patrijs betekent, een veel voorkomende vogel in het gebied, deze plaats zou een zeer belangrijke spirituele betekenis kunnen hebben, omdat zelfs de vorm die van een patrijs is.
Na al onze bezoeken aan de archeologische centra die overdag gepland zijn, keren we terug naar de stad Cusco.
