Verken het Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, een wetland dat op de UNESCO-lijst staat en 40 km ten zuidoosten van Ho Chi Minh-stad ligt. Dompel jezelf onder in het unieke mangrove-ecosysteem, de thuisbasis van diverse wilde dieren, waaronder apen en krokodillen. Geniet van een kanotocht door het bos, bezoek Monkey Island en ervaar de natuurlijke schoonheid van dit beschermde reservaat in slechts één dag.

Stap aan boord van een comfortabel voertuig met airconditioning en begin aan de schilderachtige rit naar Can Gio, 40 km ten zuidoosten van de stad
Neem de Binh Khanh Ferry, die de Soai Rap rivier oversteekt, die Can Gio scheidt van het vasteland. Terwijl je reist, zul je een verandering in omgeving merken – van stedelijke straten tot weelderige mangrovebossen. Geniet van de verandering in omgeving van het stadsleven naar de rustige mangrove regio.
Je eerste stop is een bruisende vismarkt, waar lokale vissers hun verse vangst verkopen. Bekijk een grote verscheidenheid aan vis, garnalen, krabben en schaaldieren. Een geweldige kans om te communiceren met de lokale bevolking en te leren over de kustvisserij levensstijl van Can Gio.

Aankomst op Monkey Island, de thuisbasis van meer dan 1000 langstaartmakaken. Interageer met speelse apen, maak gedenkwaardige foto's en observeer hun gedrag. Wees voorzichtig met uw bezittingen als de apen ondeugend kunnen zijn!
Neem de veerboot terug naar het vasteland, genietend van het schilderachtige uitzicht op de rivier.

This trip has the best lunch out of all my travels in Vietnam. Be extremely careful when going into the monkey island. The management of the tour was outstanding. Our guide, Quin, explained everything in depth. She is the best guide in Ho chi Minh city.

We had a great time on the Can Gio tour, visiting the monkeys, crocodiles, and the guerrilla base. We loved the island of monkeys and the history of war. Had a wonderful time on the Can Gio Mangrove and Monkey Island trek. The tour guide, Quin, speaks English very well. She was disciplined, knowledgeable, and careful. Crazy mangrove forest, stories about the Vietnam war that give you goosebumps. Having the monkeys jump all over me when feeding them was amazing.
I booked this tour after talking with Quin. She cleared all my doubts and agreed for a private tour. The cheeky Monkey’s running here and there was hilarious. Getting an opportunity to know in depth about Vietnam’s history by roaming around Crocodile farm and old guerrilla base was memorable. The lunch was delicious. We reached Monkey Island & crocodile farm after leaving Saigon city. It was a wonderful excursion with our highly experienced Tour guide, Quin. The memorable moment of this trip was the ferry ride across the Mangrove forest with the close-up view of the Monkeys. 10/10 highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a city break, this tour is perfect for you. Our tour guide, Mrs. Quin, was the best. She is from Ho Chi Minh City and has in-depth knowledge of her hometown. A day spent well on the Can Gio tour. I visited the house of monkeys and crocodiles. Our tour guide informed us to leave our backpack and food in the car, and also not to wear sunglasses and a hat, which was an appreciable instruction. The boat ride was exciting. Highly Recommended!
