Hands on Sailing Tour in Rodney Bay St. Lucia

Geniet van een opwindend en met adrenaline gevuld zeil rond Rodney Bay of verder weg, leer de vaardigheden en technieken van het zeilen op een racejacht. Terwijl je de zeilen verhardt en het jacht overhelt, voel je de opwinding van vliegen door het water, misschien zelfs met jou aan het roer. Dus kom en doe mee voor een hele of halve dag ervaring. En onthoud geen ervaring nodig om de spanning van Papagayo te voelen, ons 40-voet (12-meter) racejacht. Deelname is niet verplicht, je kunt gewoon ontspannen en genieten van de rit als je dat liever hebt. Water en frisdranken zijn aanwezig. Kies een ochtend- of middagtour of een volledige dag.

Would definitely recommend, if you're looking for something different than the typical sunset sail cruise. This was a great way to spend a few active hours out on the water, while learning a few sailing basics. My husband has limited sailing experience and I have none - it was fine for our novice sailing expertise levels. We were the only two on the boat (plus the crew: Vicky & Krishna), which was great! We enjoyed getting to know a bit about the crew members while sailing. Good communication leading up to sail time - there was some weather uncertainty earlier in the day, and Vicky got in touch to discuss alternate options, just in case. Luckily, it all worked out, but she was willing to work with us, if changes were needed.
The sailing was great. Captain and crew were welcoming cherful and lnowledgable. Very enjoyable experience.

Two friends and I wanted to learn how to sail. I read several reviews about this excursion and decided to give it a try. Captain Vickie was AWESOME. If you have any interest in sailing but are worried about whether you'll be able to complete the excursion, don't be. You don't have to do anything you aren't comfortable doing. Vickie carefully explains how to do everything and then demonstrates it. We learned all the aspects of sailing—from running the lines to steering. She and her crew are patient, and she manages to keep an eye on everything at once. I felt very safe, learned a lot, and had a great time.

Excellent experience with knowledgeable and skilled crew. I and my family were permitted to take the helm and with the guidance of Miss Vickie, steered the boat on a course South along the coast and back up the coast to return to the harbor. The smiles lasted all day.

My wife and I completed the on-the-water assessment for the ICC sailing license at First For Sail and were very impressed by how well organized Capt Vicky is. The clarity of her instruction is excellent. Capt Vicky is a natural teacher/coach and she adapted the instructions to the level of the student. Sailing along the beautiful coast of St Lucia is spectacular. Highly recommend.

Friendly and knowlegeable instructor! This is a 40 ft racing vessel so you get a real feel for sailing in calm sea and waves. Loved that we only had 6 aboard so it felt like a personalized experience.

I had an absolutely incredible day with First For Sail in St. Lucia! Vicky, the captain, and her first mate, Michael, were top-notch—helpful, friendly, and full of good humour. They truly made the experience unforgettable. The day was perfect from start to finish, and I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic sailing adventure!

One word - amazing. If you’re new to sailing you want to go out with Vickie. It’s the real deal. Our family of four including a 15yo and 17yo had a great time working the jib sheet, trimming the mast and manning the helm. Overall, it was a great time and one my family will remember.

We had a cruise stop in St Lucia, booked a morning on the yacht for sailing adventure. best excursion ever, the other folks never showed up due to chance of rain. All the better for us, we had a brilliant morning just wo of us and got some real hands on experience. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a completely different adventure from a booze cruise, be ready to work, not to hard but lots of fun. Vicky and staff were wonderful, i cannot express my complete delight with this experience.
