Generaties oude aardewerk werkplaats in Damalas Village
Chalki Village, waar u na een aangename wandeling een bezoek brengt aan de honderd jaar oude distilleerderij in familiebezit, die nog steeds de bekende Kitron-likeur van Naxos produceert.
Olijfoliepersbezoek, waar u kunt zien hoe dit “vloeibare goud” ooit zorgvuldig werd bereid, evenals de heerlijke olijfolieproducten kunt proeven
De grootste nederzetting op het eiland is een prachtig amfitheaterdorp gebouwd op de uitlopers van de berg Zeus. De uitgestrekte takken van een imposante oude plataan bieden de gasten uitbundig schaduw. De bekendste kerk van de wijk is Panagia Filotitissa (de Heilige Maria van Filoti). Het huidige gebouw werd opgericht in de 18e eeuw en beschikt over een drie-klokkentoren met prachtige gebeeldhouwde details. Voor de kerk ligt het Kerkelijk en Folklore Museum van Filoti. Daar hebben gasten de kans om te zien hoe een traditioneel huis vroeger was en enkele van de relikwieën en iconen van de kerk te bewonderen.

Alex was amazing. Felt like we saw the real Naxos. Learned a ton. Alex taught throughout. Good balance of driving and walking. Perfect for family.
Our guide Nicolas was very accommodating and kind. He timed our stops to avoid the crowds. The visits to the villages gave a nice appreciation of Naxos. The Temple of Demeter and accompanying tiny museum was interesting with lovely views of the island.
Wonderful way to get to know the island and culture of Naxos, visiting local villages and learning about their way of life and craftmanship. Very picturesque Greek villages and scenery. Alex our tour guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable and engaging, Alex even got our 2 teen boys interested.
Alex, our driver picked us up on time at the front door of our hotel, and was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to see all kinds of interesting things, like how they make a local liquor, how they make olive oil, and how they make pottery. We'll worth the time and money for this tour.

Naxos half day tour was very enjoyable meeting the artisans and learning about their olive oil products, pottery making and the production of Kitron by five generations of Naxians. Beautiful, engaging people who explained the processes for each product we saw so very well. Our guide Alex, was informative, knowledgeable and engaging. He made the tour interesting and fun for us. We highly recommend this tour if you are short on time as we were.
We loved this tour! Alex was an excellent guide. Friendly and knowledgeable. Interesting to see the how olive oil and Kitron was made and have the tastings. Visiting Filoti gave us the small Greek island village feel. Highly recommend and if you get Alex, you’ll be in good hands!

Spiros from the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off. He was constantly the wealth of knowledge. He was true to his word and he was an informative and incredible once in a lifetime guide he truly is and remains an amazing tour guide and anyone who books with him is truly lucky enough to experience the true Greece and the true hospitality that Greece has to offer. He went in above and beyond as we showed interest towards cheese and he pointed out the best cheese tasting on the island although he didn’t stop he did pointed out and he made an conservative effort to drive out of his way to show us where to go for when we were able to visit in our own free time to make sure that the true tour was honoured and that no favouritism was shown but he did show where the best cheese tasting occurred and thanks to him. We all partook in a great cheese tasting event.
