Onze tour onderscheidt zich door het aanbieden van een complete en unieke ervaring in de hooglanden van Atacama. We beginnen heel vroeg, zodat je kunt genieten van de magische zonsopgang boven de indrukwekkende Tatio-geisers, het grootste geothermische veld op het zuidelijk halfrond. Hier neemt een deskundige gids u mee om de omgeving te verkennen, terwijl hij de natuurlijke fenomenen en het culturele belang van deze plek uitlegt. Geniet daarna van een heerlijk ontbijt midden in het Andeslandschap. Vervolgens gaan we naar de Putana River Ford, waar u de diversiteit aan endemische flora en fauna kunt observeren, waaronder flamingo's en vicuña's. Onze laatste stop is in het pittoreske stadje Machuca, beroemd om zijn lemen kerk en zijn lama-barbecue. Deze rondreis onderscheidt zich door oog voor detail, gepassioneerde lokale gidsen en de perfecte combinatie van natuur, cultuur en avontuur. Stop 1: Tatio-geisers Na een rit van ongeveer 1 uur vanuit San Pedro de Atacama komen we aan bij het geothermische veld Geysers del Tatio, het derde grootste ter wereld en het grootste op het zuidelijk halfrond. Gelegen op 4.200 meter boven de zeespiegel, is dit natuurverschijnsel spectaculair en zal u ademloos achterlaten. Daarna genieten we midden in dit indrukwekkende landschap van een heerlijk ontbijt. Duur: 4 uur
Halte 2: Putana River Ford We vervolgen onze weg richting de Ford van de Putana-rivier, waar we de rijke flora en fauna zullen verkennen die endemisch is voor de regio. We stoppen bij een lagune om flamingo's en andere Andesvogels te observeren. Duur: 30 minuten
Halte 3: Machuca-stad Tenslotte bezoeken we het pittoreske stadje Machuca, beroemd om zijn oude lemen kerk en de mogelijkheid om een lama-barbecue te proeven. Op maandag en dinsdag is de stad gesloten, dus deze stop vindt op die dagen niet plaats. Keer terug naar San Pedro de Atacama. Duur: 1 uur

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Er worden meerdere ophaallocaties aangeboden. Plaza La Apacheta, San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta, Chili Als uw hotel zich buiten het ophaalgebied bevindt, is het ontmoetingspunt om 16.30 uur op Plaza Touristur. Ophaalgegevens Wij verzamelen niet in Ayllus. Als uw hotel buiten onze ophaalradius ligt, neem dan contact met ons op om te zien of we u kunnen ophalen, anders combineren we het ontmoetingspunt op Plaza Turistur. Er wordt een ophaalservice bij uw hotel aangeboden. Tijdens het betalingsproces kunt u een keuze maken uit de lijst met inbegrepen hotels.

Our guide seemed knowledgeable but spoke English poorly. Road is very bumpy. Breakfast very crowded as we joined another group.

Really beautiful and interesting, the geysirs, the landscapes, the animals you might encounter, like the flamingos or the rabbits. Had a guide whose name was Francisco (speaks Spanish and English just as much and some other languages) , he is a guide who knows a thing or two (or a million) about basically all the stuff you'll encounter and while he was super fun he also was very responsible, absolutely recommended But bring a coat, the tour is wonderful but it starts very early, like at 5 am and during that time the desert becomes a lot more than just a fridge But it's definitely worth it, hands down.

I highly recommend Expediciones San Pedro! I closed with them directly from Brazil through Matheus who did an impeccable service, and I had no problems during the trip. We did the astronomical tour (which left a bit to be desired because the tour was outsourced); the geysers del tatio (impermeable, amazing tour, amazing guide, we saw many animals, finally); the Valle de La Luna that was also wonderful; puritama termas, laguna cejar, red stones and salar de uyuni! A highlight for the latter that was wonderful, our guide was very nice too (all that were not outsourced were very good). We love too much!

Wonderful experience, you will be looking very early in the morning to enjoy the geysers, the place is fascinating, it is worth a lot. We did all the excursions with this agency and I highly recommend them, they are super friendly and very reliable. The guides are also very good.
