Ontdek het derde grootste geothermische veld ter wereld en het grootste op het zuidelijk halfrond in de Atacama-woestijn. Op 4.200 meter boven zeeniveau zijn de Tatio-geisers een natuurwonder dat adembenemend is, in meer dan één opzicht. Vertrek vroeg in de ochtend, vóór zonsopgang, nadat u bent opgehaald bij uw hotel. Kom vroeg aan bij de geisers voor een kans om het contrast tussen zonsopgang en stoom te observeren door de hitte van het door magma aangetaste water. Geniet na zonsopgang van een uitgebreid ontbijt met brood, kaas, ham, roerei, koffie, chocolade, melk en jam. Nadat je hebt gegeten, kun je meer tijd besteden aan het verkennen van de 80 geisers rond het nationale park. Vanaf daar rijd je door de Putana-vallei. Bekijk endemische flora en fauna en stop bij een lagune om flamingo's te zien voordat je terugkeert naar je hotel.

Na een rit van 1 uur vanuit San Pedro de Atacama komen we aan bij het derde grootste geothermische veld ter wereld en het grootste op het zuidelijk halfrond in de Atacama-woestijn. Op 4.200 meter boven zeeniveau zijn de Tatio-geisers een natuurwonder dat adembenemend is, in meer dan één opzicht. Later genieten we van een uitgebreid ontbijt voordat we het volgende punt bezoeken.
Bekijk endemische flora en fauna en stop bij een lagune om flamingo's te zien.
We bezoeken gedurende ongeveer 30 minuten het stadje Machuca waar een oude kerk staat en waar je ook een lama-gebraad kunt eten. Op maandag en dinsdag is de stad gesloten, dus we stoppen niet. Daarna keren we terug naar San Pedro de Atacama.

Wonderful experience in the geysers of Tatio although it is not very cold. The Isi and Soraia guides were sensational. Attentive, helpful and diligent with the tour. Congratulations!!
We took several tours with Pukarumi and it happened that in a couple of them, Isidora and Roxana were our guides individually, and at the Geysers both were there as Guide and Co-Guide. The experience was excellent (just like the other tours with Pukarumi), from the beginning (04:30 AM) to the end. Isi and Roxana were concerned the whole time that we were okay, explaining everything that might be interesting to know, delicious breakfast too. The van was good, the driver Julio (if I'm not mistaken) was nice. In general, the tour is recommendable, the landscape is pretty, the Geysers are from "another planet" -just like the cold-, but it is an experience that you cannot miss when you go to San Pedro.

I’m so happy I chose this agency for my tour! Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. I made a solo tour of 5 days in San Pedro and all the tours I closed approximately 03 months in advance. I talked about the main tours that I was interested in and Pukarumi organized the whole program, respecting the acclimatization and the schedules. In the end the organization of the tours was perfect!!!! The guides are very respectful, very punctual, the appropriate vehicles and the delicious snacks! Andres was a terrific guide. He was helpful, informative, and timed everything perfectly. He made sure everything we needed was taken care of. My only critique is you are picked up at your hotel but dropped off in town and have to walk to your hotel which wasn’t bad for us but I guess it all depends on where people stay. I will also say that the communication on WhatsApp from the company was superb, helpful, informative, and they responded very quickly. They handled every thing, including getting tickets in advance for entrance. Getting up for a 430 pick up was daunting at first but worth every moment and every penny as the views at sunrise were unbelievable!Highly recommend this tour! Thank you Andres Ju and our driver Julio!!! It was an unforgettable experience!
We understood that this tour was a must-do during our visit to San Pedro de Atacama, but we never thought the experience would be so incredible, from the moment we contacted the agency and then with our magnificent guide (Francisco) and driver (David) we began to live an amazing experience, always attentive to every detail and providing us with information in a very educational and playful manner.
