Ran was very knowledgable and when he was telling my group all the information you could see how emotional the stories are and how it still impacts the current population. Everybody should experience this as it’s such a huge part of Cambodia. The past survivor Chun Mey was also great to hear his story
My experience with our guide Nay was informative and moving. He was a great guide and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in this recent part of history that is not spoken about nearly enough.
Nay really explained the complexities of this dark side of Cambodian history very well, this tour is definitely a must experience for any westerners capable of learning.
Great tour guide, he really told the horrific story well.
Very interesting and important tour. Our guide Ran was excellent and very knowledgeable, sharing his on families story put a lot into perspective. Essential for anyone visiting cambodia
Mr. Om Chamroeun enlightened us about his lived experience of the Cambodian genocide. As our guide for the day, he shared the history of Cambodians with the utmost precision and respect. He made our tour very engaging, personal and touching. Many thanks to Mr. Om Chamroeun.
The tour guide “ran” was a very good tour guide and very well educated it helped us understand the story beacuse he experienced these times himself. He was able to answer all questions and his English was very good. It isn’t easy to understand every country’s different version of English. He is also very funny which helps the group be more open with him.
Absolutely fantastic day out on the killing fields tour, guide painted the picture of what happened clearly and emotionally, brilliant
This was a highly emotional and moving experience. Ran was a fantastic tour guide who himself lived through the regime and worked in a labour camp. His ability to engage us and educate us was deeply moving and admirable. I would highly recommend this for anyone willing to learn more about this horrific part of a very recent history, that tends not to be spoken of as much as other events.
Was a very educational experience and our tour guide Ran was very good. His English was excellent and he was able to explain everything to us in great detail.
