Deze Peru-mountainbiketocht biedt fietsen en fietsen op grote hoogte door het Andesgebergte in de buurt van Cusco, langs de stad Maras en de Inca-terrassen van Moray. Deze tweede site werd gebruikt om te experimenteren met verschillende soorten gewassen bij verschillende temperatuuromstandigheden; als zodanig stond Moray bekend als het landbouwlaboratorium van de Inca. Deze Maras & Moray-fietstocht is geschikt voor alle soorten ruiters, omdat deze vrij eenvoudig over een lengte van ongeveer 35 km beschikt. Met je professionele gids passeer je kleine dorpjes, zie je een prachtig uitzicht op de hoge vlakte en de omliggende bergen, en verwonder je je als kolibries en vlinders voorbij komen. De route omvat ook de Salineras of zoutdroogvijvers. Hier verdampen ongeveer 5000 zoutvijvers langzaam en bieden ze hun smakelijke mineralen aan. De lunch is inbegrepen, evenals een fiets en alle veiligheidsuitrusting.

Franchessco our tour guide was amazing, his knowledge and expertise were incredible and he made the trip for us. The activities that we completed were very fun and the hikes were a really good experience.
This bike tour was great. I got to see a different side to cusco and off-beat local gems. I am a competent biker- road/city/etc. so it was so much fun to bike through cusco not in the city center. I felt super safe and had a great guide. Chévere!
Had an absolutely amazing time with Luis - the views were absolutely stunning and he was so informative about the history and where all the viewpoints were. Luis was also so proactive in making sure there were videos and photos and made every effort to make sure the experience was enjoyable. 100% would recommend!

Our guide Armando and the driver were super helpful! We had an amazing time. Though it was my first mountain biking experience, I feel safe and supported by the guide all the time. He gave me little tips about cycling through these bumpy hills. The guide Armando is very knowledgeable and he feels proud of sharing us things related to the Inka culture. Louis was super responsive and very helpful in organising a biking tour last minute. This company is one of the only ones that will let you book for just 2 people, includes lunch and is very reasonably priced. It meant we actually had a private guide which was so helpful. Italo, our guide, had great knowledge about the area and the trails. He was clearly super passionate about biking and sorted a flat tire super quickly. Lunch was great.

After doing a lot of sightseeing by bus I was up for some excersise. I decided to join the biking tour with Inkas Destination and I don't regret this choice. We were in a group of 10 people incuding two guides, one guide drives up front and one guide follows the last biker. It was 60% downhill and 40% going up. If you want you can go quiet fast downhill. Uphill isn't very steep, the only thing making it a bit tough is the altitude which makes it harder to breath. The equipment as well as the body protection was really good. The bike has springs on the back and front which makes it really comfortable to bike on bumpy roads. The scenery you are biking in is amazing, you get out of the city and drive through endless fields where the locals are working. During the bike trip you visit Moray and Salineras de Maras, simply beautiful places you have to visit while you are in Cusco. It's also nice that you can rest a bit from the bike ride during these visits. Make sure you bring some head protection for the sun and sun cream. You are basically the whole day exposed to the sun! Don't hesitate to bring a backpack and your camera, during the bike trip you can store you stuff in the van.
