Begin met een spannende elektrische scootertocht door Cam Nam Village, bezoek een bootreparatiewerf en lokale werkplaatsen voor lantaarn- en leerambachten. Geniet van een brunch aan de rivier en verken vervolgens de biologische landbouwpraktijken van Tra Que Village. Je wordt opgewacht door onze gids in je hotel en per elektrische auto naar onze parkeerplaats gebracht waar je leert en vertrouwd raakt met het rijden op een elektrische scooter. We gaan naar het dorp Cam Nam om enkele verborgen juweeltjes en charismatische lokale bewoners van het dagelijkse leven op dit prachtige eiland te ervaren. We brengen een bezoek aan een scheepsreparatiewerf om te zien en te begrijpen hoe hard er wordt gewerkt aan het onderhoud van een vissersboot. Vervolgens maken we een korte rit door de zigzaggende dorpswegen en maken onderweg een stop bij een plaatselijke familiekapel om een kort begrip te krijgen van de spirituele en religieuze overtuigingen van een traditionele Vietnamese familie. Onze volgende bezoeken aan lokale handgemaakte producten uit Hoi An: lantaarns en leerworkshops waar u een doe-het-zelf of een op maat gemaakte kunt hebben. Voor de brunchpauze in een plaatselijk café aan de rivier, maken we nog een stop bij een kraampje met uitzicht op de oude stad Hoi An en de Thu Bon-rivier, we bezoeken een rijstcracker-plek om te zien hoe de rijstcracker wordt verwerkt.
Daarna rijden we door pittoreske rijstvelden naar Tra Que Village, waar de lokale bevolking kruiden en groenten verbouwt met behulp van compost van rivieronkruid. Je krijgt de kans om samen met hen rijstcrackers te maken.
Ter afsluiting van de tour kunt u ontspannen in een prachtige strandlounge op An Bang Beach, met uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan, onder het genot van een verfrissend drankje.

This was by far the best experience we had in Hoi An. Abby was knowledgeable, fun and extremely cautious throughout the whole tour. It was very hot and so we were glad we booked this instead of a bicycle. We are so grateful for our experience, we learnt so much about the culture, the people and the beautiful city being Hoi An. Highly recommend spending a little bit more to do this tour. Our favourite day so far!!

Abby is a wonderful guide. She patiently brought my wife and me around Hoi An on electric scooters. We visited family workshops where lanterns and leather goods are made by craftspeople. We visited the a boat repair location and a family-run coffee shop. We passed theough ricefields near Hua Hin, and stopped for drinks at Am Bang Beach. Abby is a considerate and knowledgeable lady and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Now this was a fun tour. Felt safe on the bikes, even for my teens, they loved it. The cooking with the local family was a highlight and getting to sit and chat for lunch was so much fun. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see the country side and an interaction with a local family.

Amazing tour led by Emily - took in some amazing sights and got to see a lot of the locals going about their day-to-day lives. The scooters are really easy to ride, and great to use on this tour. Had a Banh Mi, took in lantern making, shoe makers, rice crackers (and we got to cook some to eat later). Knowledgable and fun, go ahead and book it now! Even though it was raining, it did not spoil our enjoyment - rain coat provided.
