Bij aankomst in Delos geeft uw gids kaartjes voor de archeologische vindplaats aan de groep en biedt hij een inleiding tot de mythologische, prehistorische en historische achtergrond van het eiland. Ga vervolgens op verkenning door de smalle straatjes van de Hellenistische stad, gebouwd in de 4e eeuw voor Christus, en bekijk hoogtepunten zoals het indrukwekkende huis van Dionysos, het standbeeld van Cleopatra en enkele prachtige mozaïeken. Na een korte stop bij het Huis van de Drietand, bereikt u het Theater van Delos en het openbare waterreservoir van de stad. Wandel door de hoofdstraat om terug te keren naar de markt en de Sanctuary-zone. De Stoa van Phillipe, de schenkingen van oude beroemdheden, de Propylaia, de Colossus van de Naxians en de Tempels van Apollo zijn de monumenten die je kunt bewonderen voor de laatste stop voor het Heilige Meer en de eeuwige Naxian Lions. Je hebt tijd om het archeologisch museum en de museumwinkel te bezoeken voordat je terugkeert naar je boot.

- De inchecktijd is 60-30 minuten voor vertrektijd.
- De boekingsvoucher garandeert niet dat u aan boord gaat van de boot of toegang krijgt tot de archeologische site. Zorg ervoor dat u 60-30 minuten voor vertrektijd aanwezig bent bij de kiosk van Delos Tours in de oude haven om in te checken en uw bootticket te ontvangen. Toegangsprijzen voor de Archeologische Site & het Museum zijn niet inbegrepen en dienen bij het inchecken te worden betaald bij de kiosk van Delos Tours, alleen contant. U ontvangt uw ticket voor de archeologische site wanneer u aankomt in Delos.

- BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING: Het minimum aantal deelnemers dat nodig is om de tour door te laten gaan is 8. In het onwaarschijnlijke geval dat de tour wordt geannuleerd vanwege een lage deelname zullen we u hiervan op de hoogte stellen, zodat u een nieuwe planning kunt maken of een terugbetaling kunt regelen

The whole island is an archeological site- and it is only partially uncovered! Never have I seen this before. The energy, the excavations…..a must see!
Very best guide ever- she was wonderful!
Let me separate the tour from the place. Delos is fantastic and well worth the time and effort to get there. This tour however, left us feeling rushed. The transfer from our hotel to the old port was over 15 minutes late which put us under significant pressure to get to the boat on time. The crossing was rough but enjoyable. There are not enough toilets at Delos port which led to delays in starting the tour. The tour guide was very pleasant with good English but she spoke way to fast and we missed some of the commentary. The Whisper audio system was also affected by the wind which was quite strong. The tour only covers some of the site and there was not enough time to explore it ourselves - 4 hour trip of which 1 hour is spent on the boat, 30 mins gathering for tour guide, 90 mins on tour , 15 mins to make sure you catch the boat back only leaving 45 mins free time for the museum (which has some great exhibits) and the site itself (which is huge). There are plenty of info boards and the free map has a lot of information.
I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it was. Our guide Celia was knowledgeable about the cite and gave us a lot of pertinent and valuable information. She was awesome!!! The tour itself was organized and efficient. We checked in at the port office at around 9:20am for our 10:00am tour and got our tickets to board the ship. Once we arrived to the island, Delos, our guide Celia quickly gathered us all up and gave us our entry tickets. We avoided the long lines to get in. The tour itself was amazing. Too much to see. The tour lasted 90 minutes, after which we had time to explore the island on our own. We had 3 available times to depart the island. 1:30, 3:00 and 8:00. The entrance to the museum was included with our entry. The museum is a must! Make sure to get a map of the island from the museum so you know what you are seeing and choose your route. But you are free to roam the ruins on your own. Enjoy!
Great 1/2 day tour of Delos. Made very special by our very nice & knowledgeable tour guide. Recommend when visiting to wear hats & bring sunscreen which we didnt

Fascinating day on the island of Delos! So much history to see and learn about. A tour to remember :)
The local and fascinating, a lot of history and the guide was sensational. The view and wonderful. But the viator charged me 70 dollars and I still had to pay 20 euros for the entrance to the archaeological site. At the counter of delostour cusya 79 ja with the entrance!! If Soibesse would have bought already with them. As p tour and the lotacao of the boat does not make much sense skip the line they offer.

As clearly stated in the tour description and exclusions, the entrance fee to the archaeological site (€20 per person) is not included in the tour price and is paid separately at our ticket booth during check-in. If your payment was made in US dollars, the final amount may have appeared higher due to currency exchange rates and any fees applied by your payment provider. This may explain the difference between the amount displayed by Viator and our direct rates, which are quoted in euros. Our current direct price is close to the amount you paid through Viator once the entrance fee is included. Regarding the "skip-the-line" benefit, this refers specifically to the entrance process at Delos Island. Our guests enter the archaeological site together with their guide through a dedicated entrance procedure, while independent visitors typically need to wait in line to purchase their entrance tickets before entering the site. We booked the 10am crossing, when you get the small print after it says this ticket does guarantee to the boat. Bit confusing so we made sure we were there an hour before a got a ticket. They let us board at 9:30am and we got seated where we wanted. The cruise ship passengers all seem to arrive about 9:40 to 10. Crossing was calm we were lucky, take a sick bag if prone to sea sickness. The guide I think her name was Leah was very good and took care with our group. You then have 40 minutes to wander on your own, probably not enough time to climb to the peak. It’s a very large site to explore. Take water, sunscreen and a hat. If you are not interested in history I don’t think this visit is for you.
Started with an efficient check-in and boarding onto the boat. The use of the headphones was a plus, so we could hear our guide, no matter how far away we were from her. Our guide Celia was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. She was engaging and had a lot of fun facts to share about Delos. The island was an archeological treasure and it was awesome to be able to walk through the "city" and admire so much of the original structures and artifacts, including sitting in the marble seats of the theater. The museum was small but full of amazing sculptures, etc. Note: Actual time spent on the island was about 2.5 hours, as it was about 20-25 min boat ride each way. Having another 30 minutes more would have been better, as we did not have time to walk up to the Temple of Isis, without missing time spent im the museum.
