Reisroute
Breng ongeveer twee uur varen langs de Última Esperanza Fjord, langs hoogtepunten zoals de historische Bories Cold-Storage Plant, traditionele Patagonische ranches, schilderachtige watervallen en gletsjers. Onderweg zie je ook een kolonie keizerlijke aalscholvers en een rotsachtige uitloper waar zeeleeuwen zich verzamelen. De kapitein maakt stops bij de beste uitkijkpunten, waardoor u de tijd heeft om het landschap te bewonderen vanuit uw stoel binnen of buiten op een van de twee dekken van de boot, terwijl uw Gids verhalen en inzichten over de regio deelt.
Bij aankomst in Puerto Toro stap je van de boot voor een excursie van een uur in het prachtige Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. Dit beschermde gebied is de thuisbasis van ongerepte landschappen, inheemse flora en een adembenemend uitzicht op de gletsjer.
Nog steeds in het nationale park volgt u een zacht 20 minuten durend pad met houten loopbruggen over oneffen terrein, waardoor het toegankelijk is voor alle reizigers. Het pad leidt naar het uitzichtpunt van de Serrano-gletsjer, waar je vrije tijd hebt om het landschap te bewonderen en foto's te maken voordat je teruggaat via hetzelfde pad en weer op de boot stapt voor de terugreis.
Op de terugreis vaart de boot vlak langs de indrukwekkende Balmacedagletsjer. Terwijl u geniet van het uitzicht, wordt u getrakteerd op een glas whisky geserveerd boven gletsjerijs - een echte Patagonische traditie. De reis eindigt rond 13:00 uur terug bij de Arturo Prat Pier, net op tijd om te lunchen in een van de vele lokale restaurants in Puerto Natales.

While we were standing at the dock to for boarding at 6:30, an email arrived st 6:28. The trip was cancelled due to weather, although the weather was fine. Very unprofessional.

We booked a half day cruise with plans to do an additional tour in the afternoon. On the return the boat went over a sandbar and we were stuck inside the boat for two hours while they attempted to call for help. They finally decided to get a tug boat to remove us which took an additional hour and a half. We had to load on two inflatable boats to take us to the tug boat The tug boat then took us to shore to bus us back. There was little food or water and we missed our other tour. They promised to give us a full refund of $310 but that has not happened. And Viator has not provided any update.

Great staff, incredible scenery, beautiful tour… Sit in the bottom towards the front right for the best views..

The whole trip went really well although we were a little apprehensive about the meeting point as we only had the information on tripadvisor. I thought we may have had something from the trip organiser but we didn’t. Fortunately it all went well and we were on the ‘the list’! Loved seeing the glaciers and waterfall up close and the condors made it extra special. The staff on the boat were very helpful and friendly! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
