De dagtour van Torres del Paine biedt de beste mogelijkheid om verschillende sectoren van het park te verkennen. Om de tour te beginnen, halen we je op bij je accommodatie in Puerto Natales met een shuttlebus. Eenmaal in de bus gaan we naar het beroemde Torres del Paine National Park, een reis van ongeveer twee uur. We gaan het park binnen via de Portería Laguna Amarga Gate, waar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt op de Torres del Paine.
We beginnen onze tour op de wegen van het Torres del Paine National Park. Vanuit het comfort van de shuttlebus ziet u de unieke Patagonische steppe van het park. Bovendien vangt u tijdens de tour glimpen op van het adembenemende Macizo Paine.
We vervolgen de tour en stoppen bij de beroemdste uitkijkpunten van Torres del Paine: Lake Sarmiento Viewpoint, Laguna Amarga Viewpoint en Lake Noderhold Viewpoint. Elk uitkijkpunt biedt heel verschillende landschappen van de verschillende ecosystemen van het park. Zodra we aankomen bij de Pehoé Camping Sector, stoppen we voor de lunch met de groep en gidsen om te genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op Lake Pehoé en de Cuernos del Paine terwijl we lekker smullen.
De volgende stop is Grey Lake, waar we ongeveer een uur wandelen. Onderweg steken we het oude Lenga Forest over voordat we de oever van Lake Grey bereiken. Van daaruit wandelen we langs het strand en bewonderen we de vele tinten blauw in het ijs van Grey Glacier, dat afkomstig is van het Southern Patagonian Ice Field. We zullen de gletsjer van een afstand kunnen zien, terwijl we zijn majestueuze schoonheid aan de overkant van het meer in ons opnemen.
We beginnen onze terugreis door door de Portería Serrano Sector naar Puerto Natales te rijden, maar dit is nog niet het einde van de tour. Voordat u de Torres del Paine Day Tour afsluit, bezoekt u een van de meest intrigerende plekken van het park, het Milodon Cave Natural Monument. Deze grot is beroemd om de ontdekte overblijfselen van een uitgestorven soort grote plantenetende zoogdieren die endemisch zijn voor Patagonië en verwant zijn aan de huidige tweetenige grondluiaard.
Wanneer het bezoek aan de Milodon Cave voorbij is, keren we terug naar Puerto Natales. Aankomsttijd zou tussen 17:00 en 18:00 uur moeten zijn, wat het einde markeert van een dagtour door Torres del Paine en de Milodon Cave en deze intense maar fantastische dag.

Daniel was an absolutely fantastic guide. He was so kind, funny and knowledgeable. We went to the most amazing photography spots in the national park and learned so much about the geography, history and wildlife of the area from Daniel. This is a great tour to a beautiful natuonal park in the south of Chile. We had Manuel as the driver and Daniel as the guide, fantastic team. Daniel thoroughly explained and gave detailed background about each area in the park, and his English is excellent. Highly recommended!

I went on the Torres de Paine tour with guide Daniel. It was a cold snowy day so some of the peaks weren't visible. But the snow added a beautiful atmosphere. The scenery is stunning. Our guide Daniel was wonderful. He was friendly, considerate & very knowledgeable.

The tour operator failed to fulfill their fundamental obligation to appear at the hotel lobby. The tour operator was in possession of my valid phone number, yet no attempt was made to contact me. Instead, I was marked as a “no-show” without any prior communication or reasonable effort to reach me.
