Halfdaagse wandeling door de Tafelberg: Platteklip-kloof

Zigzag omhoog naar de snelste route naar de top van de Tafelberg in Kaapstad, Zuid-Afrika. Dit is hetzelfde pad dat werd gebruikt voordat de kabelbaan werd gebouwd. Kijk eens naar de ansichtkaarten van Tafelbaai, Robbeneiland en Kaapstad. Dit is de iconische manier om het 7de natuurwonder van de wereld te bereiken. Geniet van de tijd op de top met veel uitzichtpunten en fotomomenten, neem een hapje en een drankje in het café op de top en ervaar de kabelbaan terug de berg af.

Rob was a great guide, lots of knowledge of plants and the geo formation. He provided us with lots of options as the weather wasn’t ideal to get to the summit of Table Mountain. We had a great experience. Thank you.

Communication was excellent from both tour operator and the guide- and I was able to arrange pick up from my hotel for a reasonable fee. My Guide, Rob, was very experienced and knowledgeable. Safety was a high priority. The trail was harder than I’d expected and the wind was high. The cable cars were not running. I decided to turn back before the top due to the strong wind gusts. It was hard to balance on the rocks. Other guides and groups on the mountain also turned round. Over all it was a challenging and thrilling walk up a majestic mountain.

It was fabulous! Way steeper than I thought it would be, so our guide Shanine encouraged me to take a breather and continue onwards. I would not have done it without her words. Btw, the views were fantastic and the sense of accomplishment was great.

I had a great time hiking the beautiful Platteklip Gorge! Shanine is a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. It was an overall amazing experience, definitely a must while you are in Cape Town!

Shanine was an outstanding guide, she was kind, considerate, patient with the hikers that may need time to pace throughout, and she is very knowledgeable about the mountain, the area, the history of Cape Town and South Africa. We enjoyed tremendously the hike, and highly recommend it. Be aware though is a tough hike, shortest but steepest trail to the top of Table Mountain. Worth every effort!

Fantastic hiking experience! Salvie was an excellent guide, always responsive and willing to help and give suggestion also to the other people on the way up to the top if he though they needed some kind of help. The view at the top is spectacular: is not an easy hike, but it definitely worths the effort
