Ontdek Kaapstad tijdens een gedeelde stadstour van een halve dag door onze moederstad en verken de monumenten in Adderley Street; bezoek Kasteel de Goede Hoop en de Bo-Kaap; ervaar de Noon Gun en gebruik je inbegrepen Tafelberg-ticket om de kabelbaan naar de top van de Tafelberg te nemen. Dit is een leuke ochtend vol stadsontdekking in Kaapstad.

Nadat we je bij je accommodatie in Kaapstad hebben opgehaald, beginnen we onze tour in het hart van Kaapstad, bekend als Adderley Street. Hier zie je enkele historische monumenten zoals Bartholomew Dias, Jan van Riebeeck en Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir. Hier beginnen we aan een korte wandeltocht en leren we over deze belangrijke monumenten.
Castle of Good Hope is een van de oudste gebouwen in Zuid-Afrika en een van de historische standaarden die nog steeds open is voor bezoekers. Het legt de historische gebeurtenissen vast die 350 jaar geleden in het kasteel plaatsvonden. De sleutelceremonie en de Canon Firing maken allemaal deel uit van de ervaring. Houd er rekening mee dat: De sleutelceremonie loopt van maandag tot vrijdag; Cannon Firing vindt niet op zondag plaats; Deze ceremonies zijn weersafhankelijk.
We rijden door de stad als we het stadhuis van Kaapstad passeren, waar voormalig president Nelson Mandela zijn eerste toespraak hield nadat hij uit de gevangenis was bevrijd. Je gids deelt verhalen over de Grand Parade, Slave Lodge, Company Gardens en House of Parliament op weg naar de Bo-Kaap.
Aangekomen in de Bo-Kaap, zullen we stoppen voor een fotomoment met de historische kleurrijke huizen. (Blijf in de buurt van uw gids en houd uw bezittingen altijd bij u.) Het gebied stond vroeger bekend als de Cape Malay Quarter, en hier kunt u wat Maleisische kruiden en / of kopen proef Maleisisch voedsel zoals Samoosas, Melktert (Milk Tart) en Koeksisters (eigen account). Je gids deelt verhalen over de geschiedenis van de kleurrijke huizen.
Vanaf de Bo-Kaap gaan we naar de Noon Gun. We horen het Big Bang-verhaal van The Noon Gun, een historisch tijdsignaal in de stad Kaapstad sinds 1806 en gelegen op de lagere hellingen van Signal Hill. Hier wordt u begroet met een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de Tafelbaai, het stadscentrum, de Atlantische Oceaan, Robbeneiland en de Tafelberg.
Vanaf het Noon Gun reizen we naar Afrogem Jewellery en hier gaan we een rondleiding door de fabriek voor wandelende juwelen maken en zien hoe prachtige Afrikaanse sieraden worden vervaardigd. Bezoekers krijgen de gelegenheid om ook over de vloer van de showroom te lopen en tijdloze stukken te bekijken, van fijne edelstenen. Afrogem heeft iets voor iedereen die een stukje Afrika mee naar huis wil nemen. Let op: bezoekers zijn niet verplicht om sieraden te kopen, tenzij ze dit uit vrije wil willen doen.
De tour eindigt met een stop bij de Tafelberg, waar we de kabelbaan naar de top van de berg zullen nemen. Hier krijgen bezoekers een rondleiding door de berg en zien ze Kaapstad vanuit een andere dimensie. De Tafelberg staat bekend als een van de New 7 Wonders of Nature en biedt adembenemende uitzichten vanaf deze interessante bergketen. Gebruik uw inclusieve Tafelberg-ticket en sla de wachtrij over.

We did a half day tour for our honeymoon through Cape Town with Nathan (who was an amazing guide). We saw table mountain, cape of good hope, penguins and had an amazing lunch where even exotic game was on the menu. We had a great time and would for sure book again with other friends if we were back!

Superb view from the cable car and heart pounding experience. Excellent picture quality for a memorable souvenir card.
Table mountain was out of this world. We were blessed with a lovely weather, a highly knowledgeable and patient tour guide even though we had to wait 3hrs to get to the top by cable car. However, the wait was worth it as the view was breathtaking. The tour guide took us to the best viewing spot. Highly recommended tour.
